Getting there:By Car: Take the GOLD COAST HIGHWAY NORTH to Surfers Paradise. Turn left (after Cavill Ave) onto Chevron Island, via Thomas Drive. Go over the bridge and turn left at the first roundabout onto Stanhill Drive. Take another quick left onto Tarcoola Cres and if you look directly on your right you will be at Karana Palms. GOLD COAST HIGHWAY SOUTH-Head towards Surfers Paradise, just before you get into the CBD make sure you are in the right lane. Turn right at Elkhorn Avenue, you will notice Chevron Renaissance and the Clock Hotel on your right. Go over the bridge onto Thomas Drive, left at the first roundabout and a quick left again, Karana Palms is on the right. TAXI is about $55 from Coolangatta Airport.

nice and clean just out of the city
A great place to stay, my husband & I loved it. The apartment was spotless and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was a very short walk to the centre of Surfers Paradise and much quieter then staying in the middle of Surfers Paradise.

What's on book in welcoming folder was 9 months out of date, also no instructions on how to work the t.v from foxtel to free to air, as I am not familar with foxtel.A friendly place to stay for a short break.
We had a great stay at Karana Palms. Very relaxed, friendly and helpful.
Ideal location for centre of Gold Coast, however for the older couples the out side street gets very noisy till 2am. The reason for average cleanliness was the carpet required a vacumm (toe nails found near the sofa, from previous people).
Apart from the unit not being ready at check in, it is in a quiet palce yet walking distance to Surfers.
I stayed with my two young children at Karana Palms for 3 days and enjoyed everyday. Next time l go to the Gold Coast l would call Karana Palms first for accomodation.
Lovely managers. Great location and a fantastic price. Our unit according to the managers was the last to be upgraded so was a bit tired but had the best views. Would certainly stay again.
Well located and with nice people running things. A short walk gets you to the city or a bus. Secure parking. Had to wash pots and some plates before using. Standard room suits couple only. There are larger rooms apparently that fit a rollaway bed. Well priced and excellent value. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Avoid Indy week unless that's why you are there...
This was an excellent apartment for the price we paid. Facilities were basic but adequate and it was a very short walk to the heart of Surfers Paradise. We highly recommend it and would stay there again.
We stayed for 2 night at Karana Palms. Its really a great place and value for money. Very clean and with great room facilities. We sure will stay there again next time we go gold coast. Thumb up to this resort.
Nice decore and landscaping, comfortable bed although shower screen in need of repair.
This resort was fantastic, we were so impressed by everything really and I cant critises it. We would not normally have been able to afford to stay there but with the last minute deals we got the room for $90 and it was very obvious it was worth a great deal more. Great place.
This is not a 4 Star establishment and is very aged and needs a good cleaning, modernization that would include a new bathroom,kitchen, stove etc.The furniture well, furniture..... and re-paint. The staff I met were what made the place and thumbs up to them.
Lounge was really uncomfortable to sit on (sagging sofa bed) Oven didn't work, the vertical drapes were old stained and broken and so on.I certainly would't call it 4 x star - it was OK because of the location -but certainly nothing special about the accomodation
good location within short walk to surfers.price was great but had some funny house rules.would not agree with 4 star rating.nice staff and would stay again based on price.
property is a little tired, booked with amex didn't accept card for payment once there!!! Pay extra for linen for sofa bed which was not sleepable for one let alone 2, also have to pay extra for air con even though unit is in room.
Great location to easily walk into the heart of Surfers Paradise
+Excellent location, just 10mins walk to Sufers Paradise and 5mins to shops (coles, shopping centres)! +There are washing machine and dryer in the room which is very handy. +nice pool except the cleaning machine been in the pool all the time. +Staff was very helpful. +Undercover car park. -We checked in on Sunday and the office was closed, we had to ring them -only one toilet roll is supplied during our three night stay -charge 5 dollars per night for air-con -extra charge for twin room Overall is great, will stay there again!
Management were great, and very helpful. Good facilities, and easy walk to Central Surfers Paradise. Pricing Competitive to Location and Facilities. Would recommend for friends to stay, and to stay again next time. Unit clean and comfortable.
