Karri Valley Resort Pemberton

Tranquil and peaceful location for a retreat away from bustling town centers. Room is clean and bathroom is larger than the average hotel. No telco reception nor wireless internet available though.

We have been several times in the last twelve years but had not been for some time as the place was looking vey tired and quite grotty. We booked again after confirming with the hotel that the rooms and chalets had been completely gutted and refitted. We were very pleased with the new fitout. It was simple but very clean and comfortable - a vast improvement. You can't beat the setting either - it is simply the best in Pemberton. We are going back for Christmas. It is also very refreshing to find a place where there is no mobile coverage and no tv, thought they have tv's that you can play DVD's and videos on.

The resort is very peaceful and the lake is beautiful. It is wonderful for families or if you want to get away for some quiet time. The only set back is that the resort is about 20kms (15 mins drive) away from the town area of Pemberton.

I was very happy with everything at Karri Valley Resort. I would definitely stay there again, and will. :-)

This Resort location is magic right in the heart of wonderful Karri country. A walk to the Beedelup falls is a must. At night lights in front of the trees reflect off the lake creating a magnificent illusion

We enjoyed our stay at the Resort. The 3-bedroom chalet was excellent and nicely done up. The fireplace gave the chalet a cozy ambience. However, the lack of amenities such as toiletries makes it difficult for the family while travelling.

After staying at the Resort for three days, we only ate ate the resort once because the food was not very nice. In my opinion they need to change there menu and upgrade the quality of food they are serving. Also the house keeping needs to be improved the room good have been cleanier they did not supply enough towels each day and only cleaned the room once during our stay. I loved the location very relaxing and the staff are friendly.

The chalets are in bad need of a good clean and the paint work could do with a refresh. There was thick black mould on the back of the curtains in the bedrooms, not good if you have any allergies. There was no cleaning supplies and this included a broom or dust pan. The staff were pleasant enough and helpful. The locals in town were very friendly towards visiting tourist and we recommend the pubs meals.

The setting for this Resort is stunning! We stayed off peak season,so no waiting on facilities or equipment. The staff were most helpful,courteous & friendly. This place is first rate for families or couples. The scenery is fanatastic with lots of activities. The chalets were very well equiped. Am going back next year as we were so impressed!

Fantastic location for a get-away. Nice lake views, lots of trails to explore the forest, and not to mention the activities for rowboats/fishing etc. The lakeside restaurant is a must-try.

room facilities and decoration was 'tired' and for the price require some attention. Levels of staff in restaurant were poor. Wine prices for pretty average bottles were higher than would be expected elsewhere

A very nice resort. Beautiful rooms with balconies above the lake. Situated in the midst of nature, impressive. Nice swimming in the lake. Friendly and good quality service. Spacious restaurant with beautiful view. Excellent cuisine. Worth a warm recommendation!

Beautiful setting. About 4 hour drive from Perth.

Great area. Bed rooms in the 2 bedroom chalets were a little on the small side, carpet in the main living room had stains and dishes/glasses in the kitchen had a weird smell to them. Otherwise it was comfortable stay in a relaxing environment with many activities. I would recommend this accommodation regardless as the area is unbeatable, the service was friendly and the price is very reasonable.

Excellent resort and location. Suggest 3 nights stay as tennis, rowing, mini golf, forest drives, Pemberton Tram Ride (recommemded)etc are all available. Note - if self catering take own food as is 20 Kms from shops.

Fantastic location with great views, particularly that from the restaurant/dining area. Excellent facilitis including canoes, fishing equipment and yachts.
