Katathani Beach Resort Phuket

Couldn't fault the place; from the location, the friendly and helpful staff, the restaurants, the rooms. It was a very enjoyable stay and will certainly recommend it to all our family and friends. We will be going back.

This resort has most of the facilities that is needed for a family vacation. The kids club facilities is great. Great pools and good sea view. Overall cleanness is good and food at the eating outlets is good. The local selection for buffet breakfast is changed everyday so one will not get sick of the same food every morning.

This is our favourite holiday spot in Phuket. It's very secluded and provides a very comfortable environment. Patong and the other hot spots are far away, which is perfect for families with children.

A great place where my family will stay again any time. Far away from the main beaches of Phuket and almost at the end of the cul de sac... Wonderfully helpful Thai staff and certainly a place to return to...

Good staff- many English speaking. Recommend the open air massage services. Great location. In Oct/Nov surf-board rather than swim. Good breakfast once you have found each of the displays.

Excellent location and when we went, not too hot! There are always staff around to help. A good range of food for breakfast although the tea was quite weak and the coffee very strong! Wish we could have stayed longer.

This hotel was great! We are disappointed we didnt stay for a longer time instead of moving to another area. Its great for all ages, families, couples etc. The staff are fantastic and friendly. The grounds are exceptional and very well maintained. We would have absolutely no hesitation in staying here again and also recommending it to others. Thanks to the hotel!!

We had a WONDERFUL time at Katathani beach resort and hope to go back sometime!! We have no hestation at all in reccomending this resort to all our friends and family. PS The beautiful touches for our honeymoon AND my husbands birthday were very much appreciated..

Overall a very good hotel - well recommended for people not too interested in the bright lights of Phuket althought they are only a Tuk Tuk ride away.

We had the mid-range Junior Suite which size we found to be woefully inadequate for the 4 of us (2 children and 2 adults). Even though the description on the hotel web page didn't actually say it had a separate bedroom (which we had hoped for) it certainly did imply it when it mentioned a "seaview from the bedroom". Also, we had birds defecating on our breakfast table. They flew round freely in the open space, which is fine, except when we mentioned that perhaps they want to prevent the birds from being able to do that sort of thing they just shrugged.

Very good service. Allowed early check, very friendly and attentive staff. Location is very good if you want to get away from the bustle of other areas in Phuket. Kata Noi Beach is great. Recommend taking a taxi or renting a scooter to get around. Room smelled a bit musty and no bathtub. Prices quite high during peak season. Overall, very good compared to other hotels in the area.

The location is great and the staff are always happy and helpful: It is the perfect place to relax.

The staff are wonderfully polite and helpful. They welcome and acknowldge you everytime you leave and return to the resort, this makes you feel very welcome. The location is on one of the nicest beaches and good places to eat are 1 min walk from the hotel or 10 min walk fro even more eating/drinking options. We had a great time.

the environment of the resort is perfect. and i enjoyed the service so much. i am very thanks for all the staff working there. they gave us a great holiday in phuket. sure i will choose this resort again when i visit phuket next time. thank you

Lovely resort with great staff. Kids' club could be better, as could entertainment in the evenings. The food is excellent.

The rooms are a little tired and need updating a litte but apart from that its a class hotel and is throughly recommended!

Very nice hotel, with a fantastic view and friendly service, the only thing i didn't like is the expensive transportation from and too the hotel ( cost me 700 baht to go to patong peach).

Whilst the hotel is about 20/30mins drive from either Patong or Phuket town, you might be grateful for the peace & tranquility of Kata Noi - we certainly were! The beach here is very nice, but not suitable for swimming in rainy season - good for surfing though! Only issue is if you want to eat outside the hotel, there aren't many good choices within a short walk of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Good resort hotel. Not sure about the 5 star. We stayed in a Junior suite, which is a large room and bathroom with decent sized balcony. Good with nice beach, though a bit out of the way. Saying that, its easy and cheapish to get around by tuk tuk. We were on the ground floor and asked to be moved to a higher one, which they weren't able to (only three levels so they probably fill the higher levels first). No iron in the room - don't use their laundry or pressing service, it's a tenth the cost over the road.

experienced the superior room (sm) and junior suite (js) in the resort, excellent choice of stay! as you would expect the js is better plus a direct ocean view thou the sm is also comfy. Kata Noi beach infront of the resort, you step out of the room and straight into the sea. the beach and resort is located in a slightly secluded manner, perfect for a quiet quality getaway. numerous activities are held within the resort on each day of the week, suitable for family bonding with a sun filled vacation. Conversely, some travel time is required if you wish to experience other parts and activites on phuket. Personally, the overall experience overshadowed any travel time required.
