Kawada Hotel Los Angeles

This hotel was in the middle of downtown, so the location was great. However, the internet comes at a cost and the connection itself is shaky. Nice cafe next door & valet parking.

Only 2 blocks from Walt Disney Hall and 1 block from Civic center Metro station.

Very convenient place especially when you go to a concert at Walt Disney Hall etc.

Although the rooms are small , Everything was just fine from the front desk customer service to the amenities provided. Indeed, a place to comeback for.

Budget hotel suited our purposes as it was within walking distance of Disney Concert Hall, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion for the LA Opera, MOCA, Chinatown, El Pueblo and Little Tokyo. They also provided at our request an electric kettle. We'll be back!

Service and location were very good. The beds are short so if you are over 6 feet, you may have a problem.

Small room with limited facilities buu very helpful customer services. Close to metro station and local food market.

Staff very courteous and helpful. Very easy to get around walking or by car. Restaurant closed (presumably a casualty of the recession). Hotel internet access in the lobby had been a problem for a week or so before I checked in, and not really much better by the time I left.

the night boys were great they made sure we had a great time in la every night with just the small thing like giving directions, tickets for Disneyland and a ride in the morning, not in the best area but we never felt scarred. the room is not really kitchen equipped just the basics but no plates or cutlery just a sink and a gas oven.

I wish the hotel would provide coffee making facilities in the rooms. Rooms do not have information about facilities offered. It was the last day of my stay I realised there was a laundry and microwave available for use. Hotel staff were very helpful.

Reasonable value for money, but ANY hotel should have bedside reading lamps and coffee/tea making facilities. Also not informed of arrival of delayed baggage from airline when I had been assured I would be.

Receptionists are very alet, competent & professional. Taxi nearby is an asset. the buffet in the restaurant is good for both vegetarian & non vegitarian. Gujarati restaurant listed on the hotel brochure is good. would visit again if some discount memberships are available.. Manoj []

Great service and help from the staff. Pleasant stay in average surrounds. Traffic noise is a problem though. Perfect for a 1 or 2 night stay whilst travelling

The only complaint was that the bathroom sink faucets only trickled warm to hot water. We had to fill a cup of cold water from the shower to rinse after brushing our teeth.

All members of the staff were very kind and helpfull.

bathrooms could be equipped with hairdryers. Very nice breakfast at a very friendly restaurant next door.

The hotel has very good location. Just few minutes from hotel you can find Grand market with very good un unexpensive food (fruits and vegetables as well as take-away food). It is possible to connect the internet in the lobby of hotel but just first 10 min are for free and in our case computer was broken (was quite old) for few days. Nothing extra but good for few days.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is small but clean. I stayed in a non-smoking room with a street view. The hallway smells from cigarettes. But once inside the room, you could not smell the cigars anymore.

The hotel was older but the staff was very accomodating and friendly. The only wish would be the warm water in the sink work, it didn't, but the shower warm water worked after about a 5 minute wait. The hotel was well worth the money though, I would stay there again!
