Very enjoyable stay, but parts of the hotel were under renovation during our stay so we couldn't use the pool.
Non-smoking room had faint smoke aroma. Decor a bit daggy and dated. Very spacious room & bathroom with great views over Shinjuku, even from 21st floor.
Perfect location only a few minutes walk from Shinjuku station. Limousine bus delivers you from Narita airport and back. Buffet breakfast was very good and the pool was a welcome rest from sight-seeing. I will certainly stay here when next in Tokyo.
Not a bad hotel in a great location. Good size rooms which would need some modernizing. I was placed in a smoking floor and the room smelled bad. The gym is tiny for a 4 star hotel. Sauna is for men only.
A busy, large but pleasant international business hotel. It is situated just a few minutes walk from Shinjuku Tokyo station, ideal for connecting to the Narita Express train. Hotel staff are very efficient and speak a good level of English. My room was ready upon arrival at 2pm. There are plenty of restaurants and as well as a shop and bakery.
I have stayed at Keio Plaza several times now when visiting Tokyo and each time I have been very happy with the experience. When I checked in this time, all standard rooms were full so I received a free upgrade to a larger superior room (which they were still apologetic about! no need to say sorry for that kind of treatment). It is a bit more expensive than other hotels but for the convenient location near the train and major shopping area it is well worth it.
Rooms look very tired.
Excellent staff and at a key location even though my japanese was not very good I got along very well, alot of the time it was due to the help of the on site staff. The resturaunts are top class I will recommend this to friends and family.
The Keio is enormous but still has very high levels of service. The (standard) room was a good size by Japanese standards. The location is reasonably handy (about five minute walk) to the Shinjuku shopping area and station and a bit less handy (about 15 minute walk) to the Shinjuku nightlife district on the Eastern side of the station. Another major advantage is that it is serviced by the very efficient "Limousine" airport bus service at 3000 yen one way (cf ten times that for a taxi). It can easily take 2 hours to get there (or back) from Narita airport though, due to traffic.
Rather expensive, but selection of restaurants within the hotel is really good.
Efficient International hotel right in the very heart of Blade Runner land.We love the place and will happily stay there again.
Our stay at the Keio Plaza was divided into two parts- before and after a round trip in Japan. All our wishes were met, even though we were travelling on a special discount offer basis. The hotel e.g. willingly stored our extra luggage while we were out of Tokyo, which was a great help for us. Our room was truly a non-smoking room, which was not always the case in some other hotels in Japan. Service personnel was active and friendly in a very pleasant, non-agressive way.
