Some sigle rooms are too small (I could hardly place my baggage in the room), continues problems with internet that is possible to use only on reception. However I think it's a good place for its price and location.

The hose to the shower in room 19 was torn so that hardly any water came out off the shower head. I asked to repair this twice, to no avail. I repaired the hose myself by cutting off a bit if the inner hose. This is not acceptable.

Good hotel, clean with good facilities. Problem is location - only go if you are at Olympia.

We had a great time in Notting hill and Shepherds bush, this hotel is an ideal location for both especially if, like us, you are going to a concert in shepherds bush. We felt safe to walk around during the day and night. The hotel is basic. You get toast or ceral for breakfast (not quite the continental brekkie that was described, but tasty all the same). The room we stayed in was small but had all you needed. Including a kitchen it a cupboard... viewing recommended. We will return x

Everything is good in this hotel. The only problem is the space as the rooms are very small and if you have few suitcases you will struggle to fit them all in your room.

Tiny room, couldn't put baggage anywhere as you have just enough room to walk around the bed. We put baggage between bed and wall. Avoid street frontage at all costs - not sound proof and noisy all night. We also had some kind of water or fridge noise throughout the night. Sheets on bed were single sheets for a double bed. Mattress was exposed and only one of us had a sheet on us! Worst night sleep because of noise and sheets. Clean and nice decor though. Price good. Bit of a walk to tube. Breakfast was ok. Mentioned sheets to reception and they were apologetic and said we should have informed them at the time so they could rectify it - but we didn't at the time as it was late and we were tired. Overall, good budget hotel but avoid street frontage if you want to sleep!

This hotel is clean and quiet at night, except for the occasional guest attempting to smoke in the room and setting off the fire alarms and it is well worth the £45 per night I paid. The location, near Shepards Bush tube and Notting Hill, is excellent. However, the hotel is quite new and has a lot of potential but some of the finishing touches are missing and it looks as though the need to open was more important than the finished article. Great choice for those on a budget as the rate includes a basic continental breakfast.

location was good, price was ok, but the service was appauling. the room had stinked of damp (or a wet carpet) and more worse there flies/mosquitos in the room so as you would do, we opened the windows, we had then reported it to the person in charge at the desk. Hes attitude a disgrace, he said theres no smell, secondly having to open the window for fresh air and to get rid of the flies, the person says its our fault for opening the windows as the flies have come in, AC didnt work and he said well i will swap rooms in the morning and gave us a air freshner bottle to get rid of smell and spray on the flies, (which he did and i pointed out, your killing the flies which are then dropping on to the bed!!, he stopped) no care, im not bothered, or its not my fault attitude of the person in charge - plus he over charged me and when i asked for a refund he said i had to ask the booking agent to confirm with him future visitors. booking agent were excellent and efficient
