Great location, near Earl's Court tube station. Room a little on the small side, but was good value for money.
when arrived the room was not ready and was told to come back in a hour but i could leave luggage in the hotel so was fine with that.when i arrived back got my key and went to the room to find i had been upgraded free of charge ,a nice gesture .the room was a nice size and could only hear the underground slightly ,fully air conditioned .the bathroom was a good size for me with bath and a shower .the only thing i found was being tall the bed was a few inches short.all the staff i had contact with were very friendly.the bar and resturant are in the other hotel just across the road.earls court tube station less than 2 mins walk and the entrance is directly opposite the road that the hotel is situated in,brilliant location to get to all areas of london,my advice is use the picaddilly line its a lot faster than the district line.lots of shops and places to eat and drink in the area.i would definatly use this hotel again
My single room was small, but good quality. The room however was in an annexe down the road around 50 metres from the hotel in a basement. Seemed quite odd.
Ground floor room at the back featured a panoramic view and full stereo and deep bass sound of the London Underground. Not recommended for light sleepers but it does shut down for a few hours in the dead of night. Otherwise a rather small but rather exotically decorated room and excellent shower room. Very handy to Earls Court underground station! I'd stay again.
The reception and service is excellent, very nice people who try hard to please. Rooms are very small, but nice. The advertised broadband in the rooms does not work, look forward to people coming to fix it for you, but it still won't work. In terms of loaction it is perfect. The breakfast is very over priced and a good breakfast is cheaper on the high street by at least a half.
Hotel is very easy to locate, 3 minutes walk from Earls Court Tube station. Bedroom was clean, modern, fresh. Bathroom was immaculate. All good. Downside, room was small, bathroom was tiny. ( I was in a single room, so for price - no complaint)
I think it is somehow unfair to say the rooms are small and the tube goes under the house, well, it is London. I think the rooms, even if small, were very nice and cosy. The location very close to the tube and in a street with very little traffic was too very convinient. Overall the hotell is a VERY good bargain.
The hotel has great location with only a few minutes walk to Earls Court Tube Station. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. This is the 3rd time we have stayed there and find it to be good value for money.
Hotel is very nice, if you are not situated on the 4th floor, where the rooms are realy very small, elevator does not reach it and the windows are small without double glazing, the hotel is boosting in its advertisment. Location is very good, in a quet street only a few hunderd meters from Earl's Court tube station, so that you can reac the city centre in less than half one hour.
this is a lovely hotel in a very convenient location close to shops, a wonderful wine bar (open late), pub and restaurants. Very close to Earls' Court underground station. Our room was very quaint, private bathroom comfortable bed. Only drawback being that though the room had everything one needed it was quite small. We had a lovely time and would hope to stay there again next time we are in London.
This is one of the smaller hotels in the Shaftsbury group, and the rooms are particularly small. The double room I had was really only fit for one person and there was room for little else but a bed and a small desk. The room was also very dark, even with the lights on. Also the rumble of the underground may disturb sleep. However, otherwise I have no faults. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is great, and the room facilities splendid. Just make sure you ask for a large room, and one with lots of light!
VERY small but clean, new room. Good location. Courteous staff. Problem is that half of the rooms give directly on the tube tracks: good hotel for those who need to sleep only between 1am when the tube stops and 5am when it resumes operation
Room was too small as was the bathroom for the money.
Even on top floor very noisy from tube line almost directely beeath
The location is brilliant! A couple of minutes walk away from Earl's Court station (where you can take the train directly to Heathrow). The room (superior double) was very small. The size was definitely not superior. But it was clean and overall good standard on the interior. The thing that annoyed me was the lack of pressure in the shower. It was virtually non-existing. But all in all, a good hotel. Breakfast is not included! It's £25 (2 people) for a basic meal (continental and full English).
Excellent service, wonderful, helpful staff. Lovely but SMALL room. Shower power poor but lots of hot water. Convenient to Earl's Court tube station so can hear the rumble of the tube in the room. (This did not bother us, though.) Would highly recommend the hotel and will stay again.
A little to close to the underground, you could hear the trains all the time. One of the rooms were to small so we had to change it after one night. Otherwise it was a good and clean hotel.
Had a brilliant time there, staff were very courteous. Will go back again.
Rooms are small but very nice with large plasma TV's. Make sure you ask for a room high up and on the road side to avoid the noise of the trains, a colleague had the basement and had to move after the first day. Breakfast is a great buffet, make sure u book before to get the discount.
the double room is a bit small, and a bit too close to the tube station, a bit noisy but it was ok. v. clean bathroom. quite nice.
