"Kewarra Beach Resort is the perfect way to relax away from it all. Bungalows are arranged so you don't even see next door. It is lush with every conceivable palm and rainforest fauna. Our room was extra large with king size bed and we had a full size bathroom (including bath and separate shower). Their own private beach is a very short walk away, as is the pool. Hotel description:    Kewarra Beach Resort is nestled amongst 78 acres of absolute beach frontage, native forests and lush tropical gardens. Situated just 20 minutes north of Cairns, this environmentally sensitive resort hosts an abundance of brightly coloured birds and butterflies. Individual timber bungalows are discretely located into the gardens and on the beachfront. Two Rock pools with spas and waterfalls are set separately in the gardens for guests to enjoy. Kewarra also offers six luxury suites for guests wanting the extra space.
The main building, housing the restaurant, foyer and guest lounge/bar, reflects the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Far North Queensland in its architecture and original works of art.
The staff have a widespread reputation for warm and friendly hospitality and a renowned kitchen which consistently provides imaginative and creative dishes.

Getting there: Courtesy Airport transfers are available. For those guests arriving by private car: Head north along the Captain Cook highway. Kewarra Beach is sign posted (approximately 15 minutes drive north of Cairns Airport). Take the turn off to Kewarra Beach and follow the road all the way to the end.
