Nestled in the center of Prague, in a historical building right under the walls of Vysehrad Prague Castle and its gardens, a few steps away from the Charles Square, the "King Charles" is the renaissance-style boutique hotel residence offering an unforgettable hospitality experience. Boasting antique replica mahogany furniture, crystal chandeliers, parquet floors, marble bathrooms, Jacuzzi bathtubs (or massage showers) and high-speed Internet connection, the “King Charles” introduced the concept of luxurious castle-style accommodation blended with modern technologies.

King Charles Boutique Residence Prague Guest Reviews

3.6 out of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the King Charles and appreciated the special decorative touches of the rooms and lobby. The reception staff were helpful and were mostly able to communicate in English. It was nice having a bath in our en suite instead of a shower. I wouldn't advise using the spa feature though, as it ended up spewing some dirt/grit on me and I had to rinse myself off and redraw my bath! I found the bed very comfortable, and although I am a light sleeper and we had a room facing the street, I had absolutely no problem with noise - it was delightfully quiet. I would have appreciated some extra TV channels (there were only 4) and a more varied breakfast (accommodating to vegetarians). The tea and kettle in the room was a welcome surprise. We didn't appreciate the a noisy TV in the breakfast room. Once I muted the sound, only for a staff member to come and turn it back up! I rate this hotel positively and recommend it as an affordable and comfortable option in an expensive city.

3.8 out of 5

Lovely hotel, gorgeous furnishings, very friendly staff and close to some low cost bars serving gorgeous food. Recommend the nearest bar, just 20 metres away. The breakfast is a letdown, but don't let this stop you booking! Easy access to all of Prague with "Albertov" tram stop just across the road, you can get around for peanuts! Be aware, you may end up with two twin beds pushed together as opposed to a double.
