Kings Perth Hotel

Very enjoyable stay. Nice big rooms. The hot water wasn't the best in the morning; however the breakfast was awesome which made me forget about the warm shower. Very quiet place and the staff were great

Dated decor and rooms, but the tariff is reasonable, rooms clean and food good.

our stay was pleasant at the ,kings hotel ,location is really good ,parling was fair ,at wilsons ,next door to hhotel ,pricing ,9.00 dollars if 1 hour or 24 hours ,as they have arrangement through hotel ,we are staying there again ,next week for another 2 days ,so we be content with the hotel ...best wishes bruce and nonny .

This was my first visit to Perth and have no regret staying at Kings Perth Hotel. The hotel look nice and clean too. Rooms are spacious. Location is good as its easy access to public transport, very near to bus stand, restaurants, convenience stores, shops and there is a travel agency nearby to hotel too.

hotel in prime position,staff friendly and helpfull aircon not able to alter as no dials anywhere,tv remote not the one for the room. it would appear they are running the facilities down with maybe a view to a complete overhual.

The hotel is old but the service and friendlyness of staff more that make up for it. Great for the wife who wants to shop till she drops in city centre

Very central location.. Could not fault the cleanliness. Staff friendly, only downside to hotel was that one of the reasons we booked the hotel was because it had a pool but when we got There we found out it was closed. For a few days or so we thought, but actually closed for 6 months! In the summer I found very dissapointing and the beaches aren't near by . But good hotel otherwise

Popular city hotel, although decor was tired and requires serious renovation

The bed was hard as a rock I could hear the people talking in the room next door clearly the food was well below standard- well done chops came out med rare and were sent back and they came back minus one chop and the vege flan, also they forgot the caramalised onions. The slow cooked goat was as tough as old billy goat

We like staying there as it just close to every thing we might need in the city. Can alway park there although that does cost if you are in and out. It is not the newest place in town "oldey but a goody". Joy

The location is good, very near to Red CAT bus stop, Pinnacle Tours departure point at Pier St, Perth Airport shuttle drop off point, near to shops, walking distance to Hay/Murray St shopping malls. Double and Triple rooms that we stayed are large and clean and happy with the toilet/bathroom too (clean, no leaking or overflow, etc). Sufficient lightings to brighten our rooms. Television channels not many and are boring. Something the hotel can improve. Have to deposit A$20 for the power point adapter, so bring your own if possible. The AUST 3 pins power point socket is different from the British type, different from US type also. Overall, our group of 5 people are satisfied with our 5 night stays despite initial worry about some of the comments reviewed. Unfortunately, we have to miss to try the A$15 discounted buffet breakfast due to pack itinerary. Car park at adjacent buliding, Wilson carpark, A$9 overnight rate for hotel guests.

the facilities are very old, it needs to renovated. The walls are very thin and furniture are like in 70's. Prices are ok as in CBD, but sure need renovated asap.

For the location this was a very good hotel. Service was good and efficient as well; I'd stay here again

Conveniently priced and positioned. Initial room very dark and depressing. They did change my room at my request. Staff very pleasant. Booked a shuttle that never arrived. Otherwise worth the money. Good location.

It is an old hotel and it starts to show, beds are ok but linen is below standard. Sheets too short and blankets are just yuk, the chairs in our room were very dirty. When we wanted to have a shower at 11.15pm there was no hot water, after discussion with reception we were moved to another room, for which we were very grateful. Staff are very friendly but facilities are below standard, then again the price for a room per night was cheap as well $103 although we have stayed in other hotels for the same money per night but their bedding facilities were exceeding those of Kings Perth Hotel.

I was harrassed for being late checking and that I'd have to pay extra. I was not informed time was 10AM. You can always tell the quality and attention to detail by the quality of the orange juice. This measure is world wide and Kings scored 3 stars.

This hotel has been here a while and it shows, very dated. Cleanliness of the room wasn't the best, the window had been left open and dust had blown all over spare single bed, shower hadn't been cleaned. Chose it for it's location but would stay elsewhere next time.

This is the first estabilishment that the chef cooked the prawns & calamari exhactly as I wanted them, to perfection.
