An older hotel, needs a little updating, but comfortable non the less. Would recommend. Staff very friendly.

this hotel was one of many in te anau and it was good. the setting is more like an old style hotel - some of the aesthetics may look a bit dated but the service was great, concierge assistance when needed and the email system good too. for a couple of nights stay - it suited its purpose. the parking was not too good though - not enough parks for the amount of people staying at the hotel so get in early and walk into town which is a short walk. the views of the lake were beautiful from the front of the hotel - a nice way to walk to town centre.

Excellent hotel and location perfect. Wish we stayed longer. B&B excellent. Restaurants a short walk away. Recommend the Olive Tree for NZ Blue Cod Dinner.

Nice hotel across the road from the beautiful lake and we were fortunate to have a room with a partial lake view which was nice. Short walk to town centre to restaurants and shops. Ample parking available. Lovely location and would recommend to those passing through wanting good clean accommodation.

Whilst right across the road from the Lake there are very few rooms with a view, however we were lucky enough to have one. Staff were very helpful suggesting 'things to do'. Great location for a day trip to Milford Sound.

Lovely location although most rooms would not have a view of the lake. The restaurant has an excellent view over the lake.

A pleasant stay, only disappointment was lack of windows. Our room had high, narrow windows, not the "Garden View" promised. However, location was great, right opposite the lake and a short stroll to "town". Would stay there again.

The service at this hotel was excellent. Very helpful staff. Good position on the lake and not far from the main area of town, an easy walk.

Nice location. Pity no lift or rooms that have balconies overlooking the lake. Lots of coach tours so make sure you are on the other side of the hotel from the main entrance. Good value for money though.

Reasonably sized room but not very homely. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The parking spaces were limited and I had to park my car on the street quite far from the motel. Breakfast was simple and nothing to remember about.

Right opposite the lake, with a back drop of snow capped mountains and walking distance to the city centre. Great price and friendly staff.

Very nice room. The heating system needs attention as does the ventilation in the bathroom. Otherwise a very pleasant hotel, nice bathroom and bedroom decor, and friendly helpful staff.
