Staff were very welcoming and helpful, the food in the restaurant was really tasty and well presented, it was delicious, the menu had a good selection and very reasonably priced too! The premises and outside the building was kept well and clean. Bus from Galway city to the front door of hotel every 20 minutes.
Room, bathroom and bed sizeable and comfortable. Carpet unacceptably stained in several places. Shower head too low. Dining area difficult to acess, required going outside in heavy rain! The same dining area is a busy pub and as such is very unappealing as a breakfast location. That said, breakfast was very good quality and value. This hotel is overpriced for the type of motel accomodation being provided.
Lovely bedrooms. Breakfast great IF you want full Irish - not good at all for those who don't, no fruit, brown scones stodgy. Reception staff wonderful.
I stayed at the Kingvalley Hotel last weekend and found it very clean and comfortable as well as been very good pricing for a twin room. Victoria their receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly, helping me and my friends to book clay pigeon shooting and golf in Galway. Victoria was very informative regarding traveling around Galway and general knowledge with nightlife etc.
Lovely spacious room. The only drawback was that the rooms and reception area was in a seperate building to the bar etc. It was difficult to find your way in after a night out. Otherwise great location, price etc.
it was a very nice hotel very nice receptionist who was willing to help and reccommend places for us. was definately not 10 min in a taxi at least 15 euro in and out from town both ways very clean and quite
The rooms were very warm and leaving the windows open in January was the only way to make the room bearable. The rest was great though. We felt like we were the only ones there. It was a very quiet place. The restaurant was wonderful. There is off streeet parking and that was nice.
Very easy to find and good car parking.
The room was lovely, very clean. The bar and restaurant were very good too.
