Getting there:Kingsview Resort is located 200kms south of Auckland and 100kms north of Rotorua. Once in Tauranga, the easiest route is to drive along Cameron Road (our main road in Tauranga) and turn east into Harrington Street (Court House buildings on the corner) and then right into Durham Street. That''s us on the corner, a tall 11-storey white building on the left hand side. Drive in under the canopy to check-in.
Check-in Procedure:We are open 7.30am - 8.00pm weekdays and 8.30am - 8.00pm weekends & public holidays. If you require to check in outside these times, please contact us.
Car parking:Complimentary underground basement parking available.
Child Policy:Additional charge of NZ$22.50 per extra person.
a very nice place to stay, wish we had stayed for more than a day. perfect location, walking distance into town. had a great night out and just walked back to the hotel from the pub.

Rates are for 1-2 people. Maximum occupancy is 4. Extra guest charge is NZ$23.00 per person. Bedding configuration is King bed + Queen sofa bed. Ensuite bathroom with spa bath & shower. Full kitchen & laundry, Sky TV. Balcony available.
Good value. Large studio type rooms.Handy walk to city restuarants
Excellent place. High quality fittings, lots of room, all felt good. The only drawback was excessively long check in times (staff didn't seem to know the systems very well), and reception closes at 8PM and doesn't re-open til 7.30AM. So this hotel is not really suitable for business travellers or anyone who might arrive late or leave early.
The spa bath took a long time to fill and was complicated to use. Great shower.

Cleanliness was ok, but there was rubbish in the drawers from previous guests also the carpet needed a good vaccum. Service from the Recpetionist was the only downer of the trip, very rude and unfriendly. Everything else was great, bed was super comfy and the view from our room was beautiful, shower was great too!!

Generally quite good and in a good location for the bars & restaurants. However balconies are not private & could be shared & accessed from the road. Room facilities were good as well.
We had a wonderful stay at the Kingsview Resort in Tauranga, everything we expected. Great location to restaurants and shops, ample parking and great utilities in the room. We would definitely consider staying there again and would recommend it to family and friends.
Nice room but was not made clear that the balconies were shared and open so no real privacy.
Nice new facility, well equipped rooms, staff very friendly and easy to deal with and it's right in town. Will definitely visit again but hope to stay in a room with views of the Mount or sea next time!
As it is very new it did not have any room service in the resort.. Arrived after 8pm and felt like an inconvenience getting in by Manager. Can't help traffic. One staff member - older lady abit rude - other than that fine. Great location in city - nice rooms etc.
We were woken by council worker weed trimming directly outside hotel room at 6.20am! Slippery floors in spa & sauna area. Providing hair conditioner as well as shampoo in bathroom would be good.
very good location, only a short walk, 150 mtr approx, to the waterfront and many restaurants, bars and shops. Nice new accommodation, and for school holidays period thought the tarif was reasonable.
The room was stunning, I loved all the contents it had & was very comfortable, I would be very happy to stay there months on end if I could afford to. The receptionist was friendly & helpful & explained everything well, since we were new to place. Was a pleasure indeed hope to stay again soon!!. The only disapointing thing was no room service, I understand tho since there is no restaurant joint with the hotel, but would of been nice not having to leave the room to get something to eat & be completely lazy!!.
Fabulous modern and well equipped apartments. We were upgraded to a sea view when we requested it on arrival. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was fabulous with a shower with two different heads and 8 wall mounted massage jets. Excellent quiet location just a two minute walk to great restaurants. Highly recommended for a romantic break, quiet getaway or for business purposes. We are looking forward to staying another time
