We spent five nights at this hotel last week ( in October 2011) and have nothing bad to say. Before our trip, I was a bit sceptic about the location since some travellers had written bad reviews about the hotel since it is in the same street with some strip clubs. Some said it to be in the 'red light district'. I disagree! Sure, there are two strip clubs in the same street but the signs and posters are not that revealing, and I can honestly say that there was no bother concerning noise. The street was quiet and there weren't any dodgy people hanging around. There were some bouncers in front of the clubs but they didn't bother us when we walked by. All in all, the location of this hotel was great (near old town, new town, metro, restaurants and shops) and we were quite happy with our room and the staff of the hotel were also friendly. Breakfast wasn't huge but there were more than enough to choose from.
Excellent location, free internet and good comfortable room
Nice hotel with very good and friendly service. Lovely brakfast. Good location and very central.
A great hotel and I woulkd recommend it to anyone. We have stayed here twice and both times it ha sbeen good
Great hotel. Ideally located with great service. Would stay again and would recommend it to others.
Hotel was great, only problem was usual European dim lighting in the bedroom, with all lights on the room was still semi dark. Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff very helpful. Location is great just 100m from Wenceslas square.
Hotal was superb. Location 100 metres from Wenceslas Sq was great for exploring the city. Staff were excellent and rooms of a high standard. WiFI Internet was free unlike some hotels (Paddington Hilton) who charge 15 pounds.
Lovely hotel (and great breakfast) but pity about the street it's on - two sordid nightclubs and a sports bar. The area felt unsafe and I wouldn't recommend for a woman on her own.
Excellent hotel, staff were most helpful, rooms were compact but absolutely spotless. Bar and minibar were expensive relative to the rest of Prague but this can easily be overcome by shopping directly across from hotel for a few beers. Free internet access in rooms and in foyer. Overall, we had an excellent stay in this hotel and would highly recommend it.
Next to a Cabaret with some noise but the hotel and staff were very good and helpful.
I have no hesitation recommending this Hotel - the staff were very helpfull, the breakfast was excellent - and the location was also excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Prague and the Fenix Hotel
An outstanding hotel in an outstanding location. Excellent breakfast, excellent exercise and Sauna, very good fully multi-lingual staff, but just a little expensive. We were very happy to have stayed there, however.
Perfect location for exploring the city by foot, no need for trams etc. Breakfast was great, lots of options, even a glass of Champagne! Staff were very friendly & booked theatre tickets & transfers back to the airport. Bars & night clubs just around the corner yet the hotel was nicely hidden away & was quiet. There is a restaurant called the Kampa Park Restaurant, which was a few minutes by taxi or a 20 min walk from the hotel - fantastic restaurant! I would highly recommend this hotel.
Reception service was outstanding. Very pleasant and professional staff. We stayed eight days and I would have liked the floor to be vacumed during that time but other room cleaning was good. Cleaner very pleasant. It was difficult to get a meal other than breakfast if you did not want room service as very few tables were ever free. All in all a very good hotel. Would recommend it to others
nice and friendly staff. 10-15 min walk to the central square, though it is a pleasant walk through a shopping area! very good value for money.
The k+ K Fenix was in a perfect location. Our room, although not large was clean and comfortable and had all the facilities that we needed. Staff were friendly and efficient
Excellent staff who all spoke perfect English ensured that our stay in Prague was memorable.
Great Hoel near Wencelas Square; hotel bar very expensive.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
An excellent hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfasts were very good. I would not hesitate in staying there again
