Knightsbridge Apartments Melbourne

We loved the area - so close to many Melbourne features. especially enjoyed walking to Fitzroy Gardens and Captain Cook's Cottage. The facilities were adequate rather than luxurious, but the staff were very helpful. We would definitely consider staying again.

Parking was adequate during our stay over 4 nights and while it caused minor anxiety we recognize that parking so close to the city is always a general problem but we were happy with staff reasurances and option arrangements to achieve on site and street spaces

Good and quiet location. Parking is street parking thus limited.

Great accomodation for attending the MCG. Big bed, clean linen. Building is old but good for the price and for a short stay.

Whilst the room was clean, first impressions walking to the room would have to be very bad. The hall carpet was very badly worn and stained.

Management really need to consider upgrading. Flooring stained, toilet did not work properly, chipped bath, dripping shower and kitchen tap, offensive odour under sink - the list goes on and on.

Once again the plumbing was a problem with continual dripping taps in the ensuite. The bath itself was damaged and peeling where it had been patched (Non professionally) Apart from that the room was clean, tidy and well presented with tasteful decoration and the studio was very small in size. Kitchen was tiny with little bench space. A room for one.

Noise from the apartments facing west tends to bounce off the high brick wall three metres away. Apartments on all three floors can hear noise coming from any of the other apartments.

very friendly and helpful people, ideal if there to watch the cricket or tennis or even if just visiting the city.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were basic but the location was fantastic and the price was great value for money. I would definately stay there again.

Very Happy with the location of the hotel - we used it as a base for the 2006 AFL Grand Final. Maybe a little smaller than we had hoped, but the room had everything we needed and I would definitely stay there again if I wanted somewhere close to the MCG or shopping in Richmond. Quite good for the price too, especially given it was Grand Final weekend.

Excellant hotel. Very close to public transport and also to various areas of interest such as MCG and sporting precinct.

A quiet place to stay in Melbourne and yet so close to all the shopping as well as the city. Cosy and neat room.

Great location if watching a game at the MCG and close to the tram stop into the CBD.
