Getting there:From South (Christchurch) follow the main road to Picton to the 3rd round-a-bout with a Mobil garage on the corner where you turn left into Nelson Street. Nelson Street changes its name to Middle Renwick Road and we are on the right hand side just before the Springlands Mall. From North (Picton ferry) follow the main road to Christchurch at the 1st round-a-bout with a Mobil garage on the corner where you turn right into Nelson Street. Nelson Street changes its name to Moiddle renwick Road and we are on the right hand side just before the Springlands Mall. From West (Nelson and the Airport) we are on the main Nelson/Blenheim road juat passed the Springlands Mall on the left hand side.
Check-in Procedure:Check-in after 9pm will require a phone call on the day of check-in.
Car parking:Plenty of free parking available including room for your boat or trailer.
Child Policy:$20 charge per night for portacot.
Great value as you get a 1 bedroom for the price of a studio. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good to visit wineries but you have to drive to restaurants. Supermarket across the road is useful

GROUND FLOOR UNIT. These sparkling clean rooms have a queen bed in the bedroom. The lounge has an additional single bed for 1 extra guest.
SECOND LEVEL UNIT. These sparkling clean rooms have a KING bed in the bedroom. Warm & sunny unit with a balcony of the lounge.
Peaceful and quiet, these motel rooms have crisp modern decor. Comfortable queen bed. Spa bath with overhead shower in the bathroom. Perfect for couples or the single traveller wanting style and comfort at a affordable price.
Well appointed apartment. Great value for families or friends travelling together. Queen bed in bedroom 1, 2 singles in bedroom 2, double sofa bed in lounge.

Very welcoming, clean rooms, well appointed. No TV in the bedroom but not an essential requiremennt. Close enough to central Blenheim but still a short drive or very long walk
The room we had was large and well equipped. We had a lounge area and kitchenette. The small balcony was appreciated. Internet access was included up to 100mb. A very comfortable motel with caring owners.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were very helpful and nothing was a problem to them. The rooms were spotless and had everthing you needed for a great stay. We would highly recommend it.
The bed was quite uncomfortable, but everything else was great!
It could do with fans in the bedroom for the summer - being on the 2nd floor the rooms were very hot and made them difficult to sleep in. The pool was ok without being very nice - having one very active child in the pool (not supervised) made it difficult for others to enjoy it given its size.
This is a good motel, we will like to stay her next time.

The room we got was more like a suite in size with a separate bedroom from the living area. It also had a good galley-style kitchen. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and all the facilities clean. The furniture is a little dated but it is all quite serviceable. The owners had only been operating the motel for about a week when we were there but it sounds like they have plans to update it as soon as they can. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone that doesn't need the grooviest furniture but appreciates space, cleanliness, quiet and very friendly service.
Accommodation was reasonable if slightly dated. Situated on a main road. Owners friendly and helpful.

The Motor Lodge was a 10 minute walk into town or a short drive, although on a main road it was nice and quiet at night. Recommend the cooked breakfast, very nice. Room was clean and a reasonable size, spa bath nice and relaxing.
Nice clean room, would stay there again.
