Getting there:
From Kyoto Central Station please take the JR Nara line to Tofukuji Station. It is just one stop from Kyoto Central Station.
When you get to Tofukuji Station please take the right hand stairways after the ticket gate. Go outside the station and turn left, and then turn right at Takio Shrine with an orange-colored gate as a landmark. Walk up the street until you get to the main street and turn left. The third building on the left is Kohakuan. There is a Daily convenience store on the opposite side of the street.
