"Old "luxury" but quite ok. Close to a golf court. Expensive bar - had the most expensive latte in Korea. Did not dine there. 10 minutes walk from Bulgaksa temple and bus stop to the Grotto. Restaurants and souvenir shops near the temple area but they close at arpound 6 pm when the temple closes. Too far from the city - bus ride takes about 40 minutes. No Interent available." - Lasse Talvitie
"The Kolon hotel is a really excellent hotel - I had a nice, clean room with a balcony. It is very conveniently located if you want to see the Bulguksa Temple - however, it is a 30 minute bus transfer to downtown Gyeongju... If you would like to use public transport to the hotel from the train station - there is a bus stop nearby the station and also nearby the hotel (use line 11). I can definitely recommend staying at Kolon Hotel! " - Frank Schaal
"The hotel location was a little bit secluded but there was a city tour that you could do from the hotel which was convenient. The hotel is old and our room had a old musty look and smell to it but the views were very nice. And there are a few very nice Korean restaurants just outside the hotel. " - Anonymous
"The Kolon was a great Hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The furniture was the traditional hard Korean furniture I have experienced at other hotels and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was also great food at a great value." - Owen Powell
