Komaneka Resort Bali

The Komenaka Resort Monkey Forest is a small hotel located on the main street half way between the Monkey Forest and the Market. The people are delightful and the rooms are spacious and very well appointed. The accomodation is set well back from the road so there is no road noise even though you are right in the middle of all the "action". There is a small pool and small restaurant but I would not call this establishment a resort rather a boutique hotel. Highly rec ommended.

We were offered an upgrade (free of charge) to Komeneka on Bisma so stayed one night at Komeneka Monkey Forest, two nights at Komeneka on Bisma. Both quality hotels with wonderful service. Bisma Rd is the next road parallel to Monkey Forest Rd to the west. It is like Monkey Forest Rd was twenty five years ago. Komeneka on Bisma is 10 mins walk from Monkey Forest Rd. Komeneka has free shuttles on the hour to Ubud, Neka Museum and their hotels.

We stayed at Komaneka Resort at Monkey Forest Road for three nights, taking a one-bedroom pool villa. We loved its facilities, the pool, the shower and dress room, especially the nicely designed sleeping gown and the shower robe, purely cotton and feels nice. The location was great, we can easily get around and walk up to the nearby temples, stores, travel agency etc. The hotel also provides complementory afternoon tea, shuttle service, dancing class etc which are wonderful. We tried Komaneka Royal Spa package, honestly it was a little too pricy for a Baliese massage, body scrub and flower bath at USD145 net. Our only suggestion would be to cut the price down a little bit.

I and my family were originally checked in the Komaneka Monkey Forest. However, because it is fully booked, we were moved into Komaneka Bisma, the new establishment. We were pleasantly surprised since Komaneka Bisma had a higher price and moreover, we were upgraded to Bisma Suite. The service is par excellence. The only drawback is the facilility's electricity relies on the 2 gensets, no state electricity. We had one hour unfortunate moment when the genset experienced a fallout. However, that experience was only a minor nuisance. I definitely will go back there.

Great Location, beautuful grounds and gardens, very friendly and efficient staff, just found it a bit Pricey.

Wonderful resort, centrallly located in Monkey Forest Road in Ubud. Hotel surroundings have lush landscape full of greenery. Excellent breakfast, served right at your room.

Komaneka is very central to Ubud shopping/ restaurant precinct, although a quiet little piece of paradise. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. This was our second visit and we will return as soon as we come to Bali again. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Komaneka Resort at Monkey Resort. Although it does not have as much facility as the other two newer Komaneka Resorts, it is very conveniently located for a short stay in Ubud. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are very clean. Guests staying at this resort are able to use the other two resort facilities, however there are no regular transports available (as we were told ) between the resorts which is about 10-15 mins away from each other. Overall I would recommend this resort for the location for people wanting a short stay in Ubud.

Beautiful, relaxing, great location in Ubud...I did not want to leave!

The service was impeccable. Every staff greeted us with a warm smile and wonderful service every time they saw us. You pay for the price of 1 resort and get to use all the facilities in the other related resorts. There are 3 Komeneka resorts in Ubud. My wife and i were there for our 10 year anniversary. It was worth every cent. flower bath every day, and staff making sure you have a very special stay. I mean what else could you ask for. service was better than many 5 star hotels i have stayed at. I suggest staying at the original at monkey forest as the other 2 resorts are further away from the main town, though they are more luxurious and scenic. No gym facilities at the monkey forest resort so we were invited to use the gym at the newest resort. view was to die for. but there were only 3 treadmill machines there. which was the only disappointing thing. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway. It was one of the very best experiences at a resort my wife and i ever had.

Very calm and relaxing place just next to all the shopping and eating in Ubud. Full marks for the service and the location. They decorated the rooms with flowers on the bed, have small touches like notes on Bali with their turndown service - lovely baths and toiletries. Quite highly recommended as a value getaway for young couples. Not as suitable for families with children.

I've never visited similar 5* resort in Bali (with the price I've paid in KOMANEKA ), yet the service level quality is exceeded my expectation. An example for other 5* resort MUST learn from Komaneka. It applies on every single aspects (staff is very attentive&plasant,helpful,fast service,clean,good quality of room amenities, attentive to small details-eg.the distribution of pajamas&short bedtime stories,intensive room cleaning, etc).I've stayed in numerous 5* resorts in Bali, yet I always encountered issues which enough to raise a complaint to the hotel management.It didnt happen during my stay in Komaneka. A little thing the management may like to pay attention:The food quality & diversity. You could start make an improvement in them.It's a start to believe that there still is a resort out there, in Bali, which still up to excellent standard as it should be : WHAT IT ADVERTISES IS WHAT YOU GET ! I will definitely recommend this resort chain group to others.

The location is excellent being right in the middle of town but an oasis of calm inside the grounds next to a rice field. The staff were ever willing to meet our needs and all with a smile. The rooms were decked out with flower petals on the bed when we arrived and the room always had fresh flowers. Worth a second visit.

Fantastic! The Hotel is gorgeous and the staff can not do enought for you. The facial was divine as was the pool, the food, the extra activities such as Art Museum trip and cooking class for my daughter (taught how to make their signature cookies) unexpected but great. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to return for a longer stay next time.
