We had reserved our first three nights here, and extended our stay for the full week! Hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance to Nørreport (a main bus and metro station), also a 15 minute walk to Strøget (the mega shopping), but on a quiet street on the water. Good price (for expensive Copenhagen), carbon neutral, helpful staff. We upgraded to a king bed room, and it had a deep soaking tub which made up for the slightly less impressive spa facilities....(hot tub: not that hot) We also enjoyed the hotel's breakfast buffet on our last morning, which was nice with very good selections and good choices, I think, if you're traveling with kids.
Elevators were broken when we arrived after our flight due to rainstorms in Copenhagen and they put us in a fifth floor room, meaning our luggage had to go up five flights of stairs! They switched our room the next day, and carried our luggage for us, but we weren't very pleased that they put us there to begin with considering that their elevator wasn't working. The location was ok, not great -- for some reason there was a huge heap of manure located not far from the hotel so we could always smell when we were almost there.

This hotel was recommended by Danish friends of our daughter. Its location is in a nice area of the city and just a 5-10 minute walk to the major downtown area. It is actually four old hotels merged together and renovated. The original room we reserved was very small and this was hard to tell from the pictures on the website. We were able to upgrade to a larger room(jr suite) which was more comparable in size to a usual American sized hotel room. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and there were several restaurants associated with the hotel which were very good. We would definitely stay here again.
I stayed two nights at the Kong Arthur hotel while on business - very well situated near the train/metro station and easy to reach from the airport by both; I was able to get out for a walk around the lakes between meetings; good in room internet access, nice room overall, and friendly staff. I would stay there again.
Hotelli on vanha mutta kaunis. Sijainti kanavan välittömässä läheisyydessä. Henkilökunta todella ystävällisiä ja avuliaita. Kävelymatkan päässä juna ja metro asemalta.
When we arrived we were informed that they no longer had a room for my wife and I. They sent us across town to a hotel that can was really NOT acceptable. I called the Kong Arthur and complained and they told us to come back. Once back at the Kong Arthur they did a GREAT job of making things right. Aside from having the initial problem we were pretty happy. We would certainly be willing to try them again!
Just about the perfect hotel. The only low point is the "business center," which consists of two poorly set-up computers with two barely workable inkjet printers. Otherwise, this is a fantastic hotel with equally fantastic staff.
Wonderful staff and a very nice room. Breakfast is superbe.
The room was large with an excellent recliner chair, good writing table and a king size bed together with a spacious bath- breakfast not included DKK 145. Would use the hotel again.
Lovely stylish hotel. Centrally located, very comfortable and with friendly and helpful staff. My wife and I went for a long weekend - 3 nights. Breakfast is extra:- 145kr [= about €20], so not cheap, but good quality and, as such, competitive with local cafes. Copenhagen is not the easiest city in which to figure out the public transport system - they dont really do signs in this city! So it would be great if the Hotel were to provide a guide to local transport links [e.g. what bus numbers come close, that leaving by the back door takes about 5 minuntes off the waljk to Norreport station...] We would definitely stay again if in Copenhagen.
In the center of the city but also convenient for those who want to explore what lies outside the center. Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Parking nearby, trendy neighborhood.
I had a very nice stay at the Kong Arthur hotel. The staff was very friendly, the room was maybe a little too small but very nicely decorated and fully equipped. The breakfast was delicious! In other words, a home away from home. I will defenitely stay at this hotel next time I'm in Copenhagen!
A very good hotel worthy of its 4 star rating. Although a little removed from the centre of Copenhagen it is worth the effort to stay there because of the quiet charm of the hotel and the area in which it is situated.
a very nice hotel. Our room was fairly big. We had asked for a triple room but got a double bed with a couch, so that was unforturnate. Other then that the service was great. The girl at the front desk was very helpful with recommending a restaurant for the evening.
The triple room we ordered was very small. Actually only a small double room with extra bed. Not very good when we should stay there for several days.
Very pleasant hotel with a friendly staff. The restaurants linked to the hotel are excelent.
