Getting there:By car From the south: take the Firenze Certosa exit of the A1 highway and follow the indications to Firenze centro-Stazione. Then follow the signs to Lungarno and turn right onto via Solferino. From the north: take the Firenze Nord exit of the A1 highway. Follow the indications to Firenze centro-Stazione and then follow the signs to Lungarno. By train The Santa Maria Novella railway station is only 800 metres away from the hotel. You can reach the property either by taxi or on foot in a 10 minutes' walk: exit the station on the left-hand side and take via degli Orti Oricellari. Walk down the street, turn right onto via Montebello, left onto via Palestro and finally right onto via Solferino. By airplane The Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport is approximately 8 km away. You can reach the hotel by taxi or with the Airport Shuttle bus which connects the airport with Santa Maria Novella railway station. From the station follow the above-said indications.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. My room was small, but I was a single person and so it made sense--still it was comfortable, furnished charmingly, and with a great bathroom. The breakfasts are abundant. The walk to the main area for attractions is about 15 minutes, but I really liked being a bit away from all the bustle and walking along the river to the main area or strolling through the charming streets, with great shopping along the way. A wonderful haven in a spectacular city and I highly recommend it.

The staff was awesome! Clean hotel, a contemporary lounge area. The rooftop bar/garden wqas already closed for this season, I can only imagine how great it would of been to sit up there with the amazing views of Firenze. My 19 yr. old and I stayed there for 4 nights. I will book again!
Kraft Hotel is a manageable walk from the train station and easy distance from city centre. The room was comfortable, breakfast good and included in room price. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar, restaurant and breakfast room on the fifth floor are very pleasant. We would definitely stay again.
Lovely hotel, great service
Loved the hotel and had an enjoyable weekend there ... staff were friendly and spoke perfect English. Breakfast is typical continental style (you either love it or hate it). The bar on the rooftop has great views and we enjoyed a beer whilst watching the thunderstorm overhead. Hotel is within 10-15 stroll along the river to all of the major attractions and the same for the train station too. Cannot fault our stay at the Kraft and would definately stay there again
Cold water pressure was always low so shower adjustments were difficult as was pressure of shower. Fridge mini bar info incorrect. Air con quiet. Staff really helpful and friendly. Good English spoken.
Loved it and would go back at a drop of a hat! Just don't drink in the hotel unless you're wealthy.
If in the weekend they can keep same price as weekdays will be perfect for any trip to Florence. Very satisfactory hotel indeed
The staff were very efficient and obliging. The breakfasts were good with plenty of variety on offer. Room service excellent. One minor criticism...the furniture round the pool was in poor repair and could do with replacing.

nice hotel, walking distance to downtown, free car parking is not included in price though, EUR 15 is charged. It would be nice if it is included.
