We were in a none smoking room that smelt of stale cigarettes

Stayed for a week. Fantastic location. Within walking distance of Checkpoint Charlie, Topography of Terror, Holocaust Memorial, Reicsteig, Brandenburg Gate and many other places of interest. A few minutes walk from Stadmitte Underground Station. Huge bedrooms and bathrooms. Furniture strictly utilitarian [ it is East Berlin), but very comfortable. Staff very friendly and so helpful. Would stay there again.

This hotel was not at all luxurious (shades of the old East Germany) but it was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and centrally located. The staff were friendly and helpful. They all spoke some English, though they were also willing to allow me to practice my limited German! They kindly kept our heavy bags after we checked out, to allow us to go out and about unencumbered on our last day, before collecting them later, when we were ready to go to the airport. I would defintely stay here again.

Excellent hotel, helpful staff and prime location.

Good three star hotel. I was in one of the suites that sleeps up to 4 which was comfortable. However the suites are located in a different building which you have to cross a car park to get to so it can seem a bit creepy at night.

Excellent room with sofas / living space to relax in as well as just the beds. Adjoining Italian restaurant is STRONGLY recommended too - the food was so good we went there twice.

We are wel satisfied - especially is this hotel wel suited fore families or friends traveling togeteher We had 2 separate bedrooms and toilets and an aditional livingroom in a flat sentrale situated to a reasonable price.

Convenient location and well appointed comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast in attached restaurant. However, after midday restaurant (Italian) operates but does not accept credit cards which can be a real cash drainer for the unwary!

This is a good choice in Berlin.

The location of this hotel is fantastic next U-bahn Stadtmitte, a five minutes walk to Potsdamer Platz and a five minutes walk to Unter den Linden, this is a perfect place to stay when visiting Berlin City.

A bit retro. Perhaps that was part of the slight charm it had - it made me feel part of East Berlin. Breakfast ok.

Excellent location. However Leipzeiger Strasse is noisy, so get a room facing the yard.

Location excellent would definitely stay there again. Breakfast very good.

We had booked a twin room, and got a flat of 60 square meters, a very silent one. Very good location for discovering Berlin. Friendly and helpful staff.

Friendly staff at this hotel which is very well placed for visiting the main 'East' and central tourist spots. Excellent Italian restaurant. Rooms well laid out.

Kubrat Hotel was in a fantastic location, just ten minutes walk to the Brandenberg Tor. The service that we received was excellent, particularly during our evening meals at the adjoining hotel restaurant. Our room was clean and very comfortable, with an excellent sized bathroom and wardrobe. There was a pc that was available for free internet use which was especially convenient. We will definitely be recommending this hotel, and if returning to Berlin, book our stay there again.

Massive appartments, quite centrally located. If I go back to Berlin, I will stay here again.

You will not find a better hotel in Berlin, whatever price you pay. I would not stay anywhere else.

The hotel was very comfortable, very warm and the food was lovely.
