In the centre of Uppsala
Hotel Kvarntorget is situated at walking distance from the city center where you find many of Uppsala’s main attractions, the main shopping street and the Concert and congress hall. The railway station is located only 1 km from here. You can easily reach the hotel by car and there is a parking lot outside the hotel.
Our rooms
Several rooms have wooden floors and all rooms have windows facing the interior winter garden or the exterior. All rooms are equipped with wireless Internet access, tv and private wc/shower.
Restaurants and other facilities in the building
In the hotel there is a winter garden where the breakfast buffet is served in the morning. Here you may also sit down to enjoy a cup of coffee, read a newspaper or magazine and there are guest computers at your service. Next to the hotel there is a restaurant which serves lunch and dinner. In the building you will also find hairdressers, a masseur and a convenience store. There is free wireless Internet access in the entire building.

Getting there:
Walk towards the Consert- & Congress Hall (large, modern building) / Vaksala torg. Cross Vaksala torg, turn right on Vaksalagatan. Continue straight ahead, turn left on Torkelsgatan. The hotel is situated to the right.
Highway E4 from South:
Follow sign Uppsala S. Drive straight ahead through 2 roundabouts (on Tycho Hedéns väg). Continue straight ahead 2,5 km, then turn left on Vaksalagatan. Drive to the traffic lights, then turn right on Torkelsgatan. The hotel is situated to the right.
Check-in Procedure:
The Reception is open 24/7 except on Sundays, when we close the reception at 10.45 o'clock p.m. and open again Monday morning at 07.00 o'clock a.m. Check in from 03.00 p.m., but you are welcome to leave your luggage in our luggage room and to sit down in our atrium earlier than that. For check in when the reception is closed, please contact us 1-2 days before arrival, ph +46 (0)18 242008.
Car parking:
There is a parking lot outside the building.
Child Policy:
Children up to 12 years free of charge in company with parents.
