Kyriad Hotel Coquelles

Rooms are tiny - but for the price acceptable if only staying one night. Main advantage of this hotel is very close to the Eurotunnel.

A fairly basic, stay over night place. Room hardly big enough to satisfy for more than a single night. With basic facilities

Rooms are very tiny. Location is excellent 5 min from Eurotunnel entrance. Hotel really only suitable for quick overnight stay.

A bit of a trek to find this place but when you get there its not bad as an overnight stop, food is good for dinner, breakfast a free for all but plenty of it.

we have stayed here many times, but were disappointed this occasion. Heating not very effective, restaurant was closed for evening meal and no breakfast. Unable to make early start next day as reception did not open until 8.

we stay at Kyriad because it is convenient for channel crossings and the ices are good. the restaurant is very good and reasonableprices.# staff are very helpful and speak ggod english if needed.

Location was the best for shopping as it is around the shopping centres. Staff are polite. The room is a bit small.

chose hotel as it was near to tunnel, room qite small but ok for overninght stay before continuing journey.

We stayed overnight for a shopping trip. The hotel was easy to find. We were greeted on Reception by a pleasant, easy going lady who gave information relating to the bar and dining arrangements. Room was a standard travel lodge type and although located near to the main road was perfectly sound proofed from the traffic. A 5 minute walk took us to the Auchan hypermarket complex [Sainsbury's wine store too]. Dinner at the hotel was a surprising one. Excellent food at low prices, only 13Euro for 2 courses, good choice and friendly staff. We can recommend the fish and the lamb!! The receptionist met earlier acted as barmaid and waitress and had a great sense of humour. All in all a very pleasant experience.

The English TV and the Internet Access are an absolute bonus! The location is so convenient for cross channel travellers.

a clean and comfortable overnight stay for a shopping trip to Calais. easy to find, away from the bustle. breakfast good, but no restaurant sun pm. good secure parking.

The beds were very uncomfortable. Although this is a budget hotel the room was extremely small and difficult for us to even walk around the beds. Overall it was a very good stay and we would consider a Kyriad again. The price has to be extremely competetive as other chains often have deals that make superior hotels very close in price and therefore more attractive.

I have stayed here twice, on both occassions the staff were excellent, the food (Breakfast & evening meal) was superb and great value for money. On the minus side the roms are quiet small and sometimes the non-smoking rooms ( of which there are only a few) still smell of smoke from the adjacent rooms. Overall I highly recomend ths Hotel for a one or two night stop-over.

An ideal place to stay for the start of a long journey into France. Essentially caters for English speaking guests with the warmth of Gallic charm. Ideal location from the port of Calais.
