A easy walk into town, close to the station, under grround parking (to be paid for) HUGE INDOOR POOL, great place to stay far nicer than the other Kyriads we stayed at.

As the hotel is located right in front of the railway station, it is hardly possible to open the room windows because the noise is deafening ! I will avoid staying there if the weather is hot. Otherwise, good quality / price ratio.

Positive: Very central location, secure hotel parking at a reasonable price, excellent insulation from noise from heavily traficked street outside, a good swimming pool, LCD-TV, room and bathroom very recently re-decorated, lots of cupboard space. Negative: Small room, no A/C and not very good ventilation and impossible to keep windows open because of traffic noise which will be a problem during high summer temperatures, selection at breakfast only just about satisfactory.

If you need a private parking underground(10euro), you need to reserve it, too as they have only 20 spaces. Otherwise you have to park at the station parking, but they have a discount overnight parking rate with the hotel stamp for only 5 euro from 6pm-9am. We ended up parking at the station, but it was spacious, clean and safe compared to other station parking in Europe.

The swimming pool was an added bonus that the children enjoyed. Well situated for the city centre, we would use this hotel again.

The swimming pool makes all the difference to a hotel which is otherwise fairly standard. Well worth staying there if you're on a budget - staff are friendly and a good location.
