Best hotel in Puerto Mazarro with great views. Breakfast a little basic.

Lovely stay for 6 nights: a great pity the garden radio microphone was accidentally left on all Thursday night causing a sleepness night!

Loved our stay. Relaxing and excellent food. Loved the Spanish breakfasts. Excellent views, helpful staff. Would stay again. Not suitable if you cant handle hills!!

Unbelievably clean inside and in the Grounds, lovely garden, very impressive. Breakfast very limited but food ok. Lovely position with commanding views and no traffic noise, but only 10 minute walk to the sea. Will definitely return.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a bit of a steep hill when walking back to the hotel, but worth it for the views!

Stayed with my wife and two children 15 and 13, most enjoyable, great view,hotel staff very friendly, great breakfast,general layout and facilities great.Room most suitable, and pricing excellent. Would use the hotel again no problem.

an excellent hotel with just a few drawbacks namely the location bieng on the top of a hill which could be a problem for the disabled or the elderley who don't have the benefit of a vehicle. also the party walls between each room are a bit on the thin side resulting in a little bit of noise pollution from the adjacent rooms. but these are the only minor comments overall it is a very good hotel and worthy of perhaps a four star rating. and i have no hesitation in going back again

La cumbre hotel was set in a beautiful location on a hill, where the views of mountains, beach, marina could be enjoyed. we sat on out balcony most nights with a glass of wine, enjoying the sights, and listening to the music the hotel had put on speakers outside. It was the most relaxing holiday I had in years. It is NOT for people looking for excitement. Most of the guests were elderly spanish people. But its the perfect location for a romantic relaxing break away. A la carte restaurant is very good. I had steak- yum and my partner had pork which he enjoyed. Breakfast very satisfactory. Just stay away from the 15euro evening menu, which encompasses a buffet of very spanishy food and was quite a scary, but funny experience. Stay with the a la carte restaurant or the bar food!!!! really enjoyed my stay here. Place was unreal clean and staff were so nice adn friendly.

Enjoyable stay - helpful friendly staff

We had B&B only but we did have some food from the bar menu which was nice. The location of the hotel was excellent and within walking distance of everything needed for the duration of our stay. The port was a 5 minute walk and was full of places to eat and drink. The bar staff were really helpful and understood english very well.

The hotel is on the edge of town with great views of the coast and hinterland.

Enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. The staff were particularly pleasant, especially in the dining room. We had half board which was adequate, however, the breakfast was very good.

This hotel was a surprise. The rooms and beds were large, the balcony looked over the countryside and the hotel was very Spanish with lots of quirky touches. The buffet breakfast was substantial and overall the hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere. Many of the visitors we spoke to were repeat customers which says a lot in itself. We would go back for a quiet break. Mazarron itself was fairly quiet but there were enough restaurants and bars to ring the changes over a week.

The hotel was a typical well run spanish accommodation. However the buffet breakfast which was a bit bland.ie. Should be fruit juice not quash, and full range of fruit provided. The hotel terraces and pools were well maintained but there was abundance of flies in this area which was quite annoying. The reception were very helpful.

The hotel was outstanding, it should have a 5 star rating. We could not find any faults what so ever. The staff were most friendly and helpfull.We only planned to stay 5 days and increased to 7 as it was so relaxing and pleasurable, and will certainl book here again. regards Sean, Hazel pilkington

Great hotel! I stay here at least once a month and always find the staff to be extremely helpful, rooms are clean and of freshly washed linen. Would highly recommend!

The hotel was lovely! Absolutely immaculate,daily maid service and friendly staff!We were B&B (continental breakfast) which suited us! Puerto De Mazarron is somewhere we will most definately be returning to! There's endless expanses of safe clean beaches,a teriffic Sunday market(also indoor daily food market) We visited Bolneuvo on hired bikes & Cartagena by bus(cheap and air cond comfort!) A car would be recommended for exploring and due to the hotel being on top of a hill it's not suited to everyone

Nice balconies with good views across the town to the sea. Food in the a la carte restaurant was good and well priced. Gereally quiet and restful. Better instructions would have helped us find it more easily.
