"Located a short 7-10 min. walk from the Piazetta, the hotel is convenient. My room was not ready when requested so the hotel did upgrade me to a larger, available room. The breakfast buffet is generous and served in a large bright room overlooking the bay of Naples. My room was clean. Hotel description:    LA FLORIDIANA is surrounded by greenery and faces south in a marvellous triangle of sky, sea and pine trees.
It is set in a central but quiet position, just few metres from the shopping center and not far from the most important cultural and natural itinerary. (50 mt from the main street ‘Camerelle and Just few minutes from the famous Piazzetta).

A large and welcoming hall with color satellite TV and an American Bar is available, where guests can spend happy, relaxing evenings.

The rooms are all elegantly furnished, each with it’s own particular style and rendered unique by a touch of creative flair.

Every one of the 36 rooms has been completely renovated.

Except standard and single rooms, most of the bedrooms have balcony or terrace with sea view.

Getting there: Once you have arrived at the Marina Grande port, go Piazzetta. The most convenient way is by funicular or by taxi.

To get to the hotel from the Piazzetta, walk down the main shopping streets Via Vittorio Emanuele, then Via Camerelle. At the end of Via Camerelle , instead of turning left into the road leading to the Faraglioni, follow our sign directing you down the sloping street; the hotel is only 50 m away.

Alternatively turn off to the right (Via Ignazio Cerio) at the sign indicating La Floridiana half-way along Via Camerelle.

Remember that as of the Piazzetta, all car traffic in the centre and panoramic areas of Capri is strictly prohibited.

For this reason, it is best to entrust any heavy or cumbersome baggage (9 Euro for each item) to the porters at the ferry and hydrofoil arrival areas for transport to the hotel.

There are also porters who can take your baggage to the hotel from the Piazzetta (at the funicular exit or the taxi stop) for 4 Euro per item.
