LA FLORIDIANA is surrounded by greenery and faces south in a marvellous triangle of sky, sea and pine trees. It is set in a central but quiet position, just few metres from the shopping center and not far from the most important cultural and natural itinerary. (50 mt from the main street ‘Camerelle and Just few minutes from the famous Piazzetta). A large and welcoming hall with color satellite TV and an American Bar is available, where guests can spend happy, relaxing evenings. The rooms are all elegantly furnished, each with it’s own particular style and rendered unique by a touch of creative flair. Every one of the 36 rooms has been completely renovated. Except standard and single rooms, most of the bedrooms have balcony or terrace with sea view.

Getting there:Once you have arrived at the Marina Grande port, go Piazzetta. The most convenient way is by funicular or by taxi. To get to the hotel from the Piazzetta, walk down the main shopping streets Via Vittorio Emanuele, then Via Camerelle. At the end of Via Camerelle , instead of turning left into the road leading to the Faraglioni, follow our sign directing you down the sloping street; the hotel is only 50 m away. Alternatively turn off to the right (Via Ignazio Cerio) at the sign indicating La Floridiana half-way along Via Camerelle. Remember that as of the Piazzetta, all car traffic in the centre and panoramic areas of Capri is strictly prohibited. For this reason, it is best to entrust any heavy or cumbersome baggage (9 Euro for each item) to the porters at the ferry and hydrofoil arrival areas for transport to the hotel. There are also porters who can take your baggage to the hotel from the Piazzetta (at the funicular exit or the taxi stop) for 4 Euro per item.

Very good experience overall, the sea views from room 22 were great. The breakfast was a bit hit and miss. But i would recommend this hotel for location and value. I would stay there again. if visiting Capri
The hotel is close to everything but tucked away in a very quiet street. It is worth paying a bit more for the view of the sea.

These spacious rooms all have sitting area and balcony or terrace facing the sea. Stylishly furnished with great attention to detail. Each room has its own unique majolica paving tiles. All the Junior suites and Suites have bath and separate shower or Jacuzzi or two bathrooms.

Located a short 7-10 min. walk from the Piazetta, the hotel is convenient. My room was not ready when requested so the hotel did upgrade me to a larger, available room. The breakfast buffet is generous and served in a large bright room overlooking the bay of Naples. My room was clean. The bathroom was spotless although the tiny shower was awkward to use without splashing water all over the floor. - I would stay at this hotel again.
Excellent Hotel, loved every aspect of it! The staff is very friendly; Ms Lucia and Ms Cristina made me feel at home. Excellent breakfast with good food and it has a beautiful ocean view at its terrace. Good air conditioning… very important issue if you are traveling in August. Very well located, close to the main shopping street, and the road to the scenic view of the faraglioni. I would definitely stay there again.
Excellent Hotel stayed in Junior suite room 68 very nice and spacious overlooking the sea. Staff friendly, no need to pay 4Star prices stay here. Very clean and well looked after. No complaints. Beautiful island but stupidly expensive when eating and drinking out.
Only a pool is missing to rate this good hotel as very good, in any case I would suggest this hotel to my friends.
Our rooms were upgraded due to the off-season so it was a good buy. In Capri most of the hotels were closed during winter, so we did not have much choice, yet eventually we found this hotel was much better than I thought, and enjoyed.
Hotel was very nice. Take the tram, rather than a cab, from the port up to the main square and be prepared to walk to the hotel. Eat at Gemma's.
I was particular impressed by the dedication of some members of the Reception desk who provided a very good insight into the Island. Swimming pool not available but against a payment of EUR10,-- you can use a neighbouring pool 2 minutes walk from Floridiana.
This is a jewel of a hotel. Its location in Capri is great, the triple room was fabulous. Lots of space and well finished.
After reading various reviews I was hesitant to book here but went with it and was pleasently surprised at how nice the place was and staff were. Enjoyed the view on lower floor (surprising), nice breakfast buffet, small but adequate room. We would stay there again.
I would recommend it for price and location it was a great deal. Please do not have ANY expectation with breakfast - area that has no questions need to be improved - . But the overall, is a beautiful hotel, clean and excellent located. The room is big, big bathroom and beautiful terrace with views. I had a great stay.
Very beautiful room, wonderful view. Hot water was not very plentiful and the jacuzzi would have been much better with hot water instead of the tepid to cool that we had most of the time. Otherwise, very pleasant and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Absolutly the most professional and courteous staff my family encountered during our nine day trip through Italy. The hotel was exceptionally well kept and service was always top notch. The rooms were beautiful and the availability of a first class breakfast was a pleasant surprise. I would truly recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a trip to Capri and I will be planning to stay there again in the near future.
