Getting there:By car: Tangeziale Est of Milan, direction Lecco, always straight about 10 Km after the end of it. By train: from Milano Porta Garibaldi, train direction Lecco, about 40 min. to the station of Calco-Brivio-Olgiate Molgora, than 5 min. by taxi.

The hotel is ok if you are only staying for a night or two. The rooms are not the comfiest but ok and the bathroom was clean. The location is not ideal as it is about 7 min taxi drive from station. This would be ok if there was a taxi at the station but there isn't and so you need to call and book it. Quite a challenge in this little village where people don't really speak English. But I must say that the service in the hotel was really nice and helpful. Everything that we asked they took care of. So in overall an ok experience and good for the price :)
You have to be very tired to stay at this hotel, since the noise of the cars on the Lecco-Milan road go on all night. However basic and uninspiring the facilities, the hotel and restaurant staff make it up with helpfulness and goodwill
This is a very basic hotel, but it has its own style and a very nice terrasse where you can get good pizza. You should not be afraid of the noise of passing cars, though.
