Hotel completely restored and refurbished, ”La Locandiera” is found in the historical center, immersed in the enchanting atmosphere of the city, just few minutes away from St.Mark’s Square.
“La Locandiera” is the name of our “Locanda”, which has taken inspiration from the famous and witty comedy by Carlo Goldoni. The “Locanda” is housed in a small XVII century palace on Campo San Giovanni Novo, a peaceful and typically Venetian Square. |

| Getting there: |
La Locandiera can be quickly reached from the Santa Lucia Railway station or Piazzale Roma (car parking) by public transportation (Vaporetto), with line 1 - 2 or line 51 - 41 to landing-stage “San Zaccaria”. From the boat-stop take “Calle delle Rasse” (in front), at the end of it turn left in “Campo San Filippo e Giacomo”, at the right corner of this small square take “Calle Sacrestia” and turn left before the bridge into “Calle di fianco la Chiesa”, on the left You will find the entrance of La Locandiera.
Marco Polo International Airport is about 10 km far from Venice. You can come in Venice also by the shuttle-boat service "Alilaguna", it takes 1h10m untill St. Mark’s Square. From the landing-stage walk on the right straight along the “Riva degli Schiavoni”, cross the bridge in front (Ponte della Paglia) and take the second street on your left, “Calle delle Rasse” and then proceed on foot as described above. |
