charming, compact, friendly traditional small hotel in a nice quiet location close to the beach, and convenient bus stops, with kind and attentive service. So pleased that i extended my stay by three extra nights.
Great little character hotel set in quite location 10 mins to bus, beach and 20 min to warer taxi. Very clean and helpfull staff, free wi-fi and good breakfast included. I would stay at this hotel again.
nice and close to the beach. would have been nice if there was some fruit included in breakfast. Not to far from the water taxis
Charming hotel in a quiet nice area on Lido outside Venice. It is not the place to enjoy top luxury but excellent for a romantic weekend or week at the seaside. We appreciated the many table and chairs available in the garden, but why on earth were we not allowed to bring the breakfast with us outdoor? However, we will return.
The hotel actually looked the way that it was described online and it as very convenient to the beach and water bus. Also, it was 5 minutes walk to catch a a city bus so that I could quickly get to the water busses or 15 minutes walk. The hotel did not have a single room, as I had booked and they placed me in a very nice double room. A hotel staff prepared a breakfast sack for me one morning when I needed to leave early for my conference. The staff was very helpful. The pigeons were loud on the roof at times, as I was on the third floor. However, I was not around enough to be aggravated. I would definitely use this hotel or recommend it to otehrs.
I was very much impressed with the hotel. The room was big, nice balcony and the hotel itself looks great. As I read reviews before making the booking, it turned true that the breakfast is served outside if the weather allowes. The selection of food was very good (yogurt, cereals, pastry, ham, cheese, bread, hot drinks, etc). The location is good as well - a bit of a walk fro the port but the surroundings are nice and it turned out that a bus stop is very close (buses A, B, C). The beach is very near as well (2 min). As I needed to use the Internet, they have a PC but the use is quite pricy. All in all, I enjoyed the stay and would love to go there again.
We loved this hotel, a beautiful setting, relaxing, great breakfast!!! 10min walk to the shopping & ferry, just a lovely cruisey area area.
The place was great and clean. Everyone was really nice and friendly exp for one guy. but over all it was nice.
Nice place to stay for the money. Quite, clean, some 10 min walk from a boat station. Great for people with a car.
Quiet and yet close to the beach and only 15 minutes walk from the boat station. Family atmosphere. Breakfast outside in the garden when nice weather; some problems with the coffee machine however.
A lovely hotel with excellent service. An atmosphere of gracious, old-world hospitality with up-to-date features. I will stay here again and again.
This hotel is in a great location if you don´t want to stay in the hussle and bussle of centeral venice. it is on a little island called lido. very easy to get to main venice by ferry. hire the bikes from the hotel and go for a ride around the island....take a hat and sunscreen! would definately stay here again.
The rooms were very nice but the staff weren't at all helpful and didn't tell us anything on arrival other than 'room 1, upstairs'. It's about a 15 minute walk from the vaporetti down a residential type street but only a 2 minute walk from the beach. The lido itself is very pleasant and we found the food to be slightly better and a lot cheaper than in Venice itself. Thought it was reasonably priced.
Very pleasant hotel close to the beach (within 3 mins) and the waterbus for the rest of Venice (easily negotiated 10 min walk). Hotel staff always professional and able to help in times of need for information or guidance. Service was excellent in catering and room maintenance. Would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to access busy areas of Venice via waterbus whilst retaining options to visit the excellent beach down the road and a welcome night of peaceful sleep after a hectic day out.
I spent 2.5 weeks in italy, and La Meridiana was the nicest place I stayed. The room was lovely - attractive, very clean, comfortable, well-appointed. The surroundings were great as well. Located in the Lido area, it is away from the madness of the tourist-filled areas, yet easily accessible by vaporetto. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller.
