Getting there:Hotel La Pergola is located among the lemon trees along the famous Amalfi Drive, just outside the town of Amalfi. The center of Amalfi and the main beaches are easily on foot or by bus. By car you can exit at Vietri Sul mare and follow the Amalfi Direction. By following the road SS 163 very close to Amalfi Centre you'll find our hotel at the Km 27.2 of the SS 163 road..

We enjoyed our stay at La Pergola, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Though the hotel is a little distance from Amalfi the bus service was excellent if we did not feel like walking. Secure parking was a plus even if it did cost 10 euros a night, better than having the car side-swiped!!

Customer service is outstanding! Excellent place to stay. I would recommend to friends in a heartbeat. Just FYI I would not consider this hotel walking distance from the heart of Amalfi - the distance is no problem but the road you need to walk along has no pedestrian way and is narrow, heavy with traffic and curvey. Good news: There is a bus stop right outside the hotel.
A lovely hotel with very nice staff and good breakfast. The location almost put us off as it is too far to walk along a dangerous road into Amalfi. However, the bus service from right outside the hotel is frequent and in the end it wasn't a problem.
Nice and friendly family-run hotel. Warm welcome (we were offered coffee and sorbet on arrival) Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Good breakfast. We had a very pleasant stay in La Pergola and would definitely go back.
Excellent hotel. Room recently refurbished and spotless. Very friendly staff. Location about 1.5 km from Amalfi and on main road. Bus stop right outside hotel, walk takes about 25 mins. Two great cove beaches nearby, loads of steps down to them, but worth the treck. We ate at the hotel one evening and it was lovely.
