La Perla Hotel Praiano

The bed have plastic mattress protectors which can make sleeping a little uncomfortable

We spent 5 days at hotel. On arrival greated by staff who made us welcome and showed us to our room with lovely views of the sea and cliffs. Staff always friendly & helpful.

A beautiful hotel in a breathtaking location overlooking the Amalfi Coast. The room was large and very comfortable and the public spaces were very nice. A full service restaurant would be a plus (limited service was available) but there were other places within walking distance. A great bargain in a great location!

The local bus and the bus from Positano or Amalfi stop at the hotel. The hotel has a short drive to walk up, NOT steps. It is opposite the steps to the beach where you can catch the ferry to Positano and then change to the Capri ferry. Lovely terrace to eat your breakfast overlooking the water, just like the photos. Very quite location just a short trip on the bus to either Positano north or Amalfi south. There is also a direct ferry from Naples to Positano for only 9 euros and then the local bus from Positano to Praiano for 1 euro

Good hotel, friendly staff who speak good english, good location for visiting amalfi, positano etc. Worth paying a bit extra for the sea view which is stunning

It was a pleasant stay and I was more than happy with my room, which had a separate entrance (shared only by another room) below the reception area. Very quiet and close to the spectacular beach, La Praia. (Descent to the other beach, from the centre of Praiano, is a much greater challenge, and climbing back up is a nightmare on a hot summer day, La Praia is smaller but MUCH better accessible). The only drawback was perhaps the tiny TV set which had a bad picture, but then - who needs a TV when on holiday? Very good overall impression.

Needs an elevator...too many stairs to go up with suitcases... although they did help us carry the suitcases up to the room upon check-in. Restaurant closes too early for dinner (about 20:00 hour)

Great location with easy access to different sights such as Pompei, Capri etc. Lovely staff and peope in general.

It is located along the Amalfi coast, of which scenary was so excelent and beautiful. The total impression was really super excellent.

My husband and I were absolutely delighted with La Perla- the room was fantastic with a balcony looking straight out to sea. Parking was included - the 3 course evening meal was excellent and very well priced- breakfast was also excellent. The staff were extremely friendly -helpful and professional- they ensured that our 3 day stay was a wonderful experience and we thank them very much for all their help.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is a bit out of the main town of Praiano, but it has excellent bus service right out the front door, there is a good path to walk to town and avoid the busy coast road, and there are a number of very nice restaurants and a beach within easy walking distance (if you don't mind stairs). The breakfast buffet was good, and featured some produce grown by the hotel. I would definitely stay there again. Stay in Praiano if you want to relax and avoid the crowds and tourists. If you want to be where the action is, stay elsewhere.

A bit out of the way, but views are excellent - very peaceful and serene. Staff were very helpful and breakfast and dinner were great.

Friendly service, stunning views. Right above track to small beach with many restaurants along waterfront. Cheaper than neighbouring Amalfi and Positano and bus stop right outside for day trips.

Excellent breakfast with breathtaking views. Raphael provided quiet yet efficient service. Claudia & Enzo were welcoming and most helpful in assiting with all requests. Bus stop directly under the hotel and quite reasonable restaurants within the vicinity. Large rooms and bathrooms (with bathtub) have fabulous panoramic ocean and escarpment views. Mini bar fridge is adequate. Praiano is halfway between Amalfi and Positano.
