The La Residenza Hotel is located in an extremely tranquil setting, sheltered from city chaos yet at the same time a short distance away from all major places of interest in Milan. The hotel lies in the "Affori" area in the North of Milan, about 20 minutes away from the Duomo, which is easily reachable by public transport. Hotel La Residenza is in a privileged position to get to the Milan Fair, either its historic site located downtown, Milan Fair City, or the Fair's new site at Rho – Pero. If you take the metro trains at the Affori stop, located only 5 minutes by car from the hotel, you then get off at Cadorna and take subway red line number 1 going to Rho Pero. Get off at the Fiera stop, and you will be at the Milan Fair City, however if you continue to the end of the line you will reach the new center at Rho – Pero.

Getting there:From the airport of Milan Malpensa take the "Malpensa Express" train, that frequently comes every 30 minutes that will take you to the Bovisa station at the price of € 9.00 only. The station is 1.5 km from the hotel - we suggest to travel by taxi to get to our "La Residenza which will cost approx 8 €, " If you don't find a taxi in front of the station call: 02/4040 or 02/8585 (central taxi office) From the Central Station to the Hotel La Residenza: take the yellow line of the underground to the Maciachini final station, then the bus n. 46, 70 or 52 ask the driver for the Via Pellegrino Rossi /Via Vignati stop. From Central Station to hotel, it will take approx 20 to 25 minutes. Walk to the end of Via Vignati, approx 200 metres and turn left into Via Scialoia - the Hotel La Residenza is on your right, after the Church.

Absolutely a clean hotel. Excellent breakfast. Unfortunately they charge for the internet. They have wifi also for a fee of 1 Euro per hour. Good location 4 min walkign from the metro. 1 ride to most touristic attraction.
Clean, well-run hotel on a quiet back street just off a nondescript arterial road. Helpful staff and pleasant outside sitting area with supercilious ginger cat! Wide choice of food for breakfast but mostly only of average quality. Excellent pizzeria just round the corner that is very popular with the locals - always a good sign. Great for access to the A4 Turin/Venice autostrada and Monza Autodromo. Would have no hesitation in staying here again.
I forgot my travel documents in my room. They were sent to me by the hotel and arrived a day after on my new location. Splendid service!!! Thank you!
Very confident staff at Hotel and very helpful ,, food good .. room very clean and well appointed.. would come again if in Milan but would prefer a Hotel that was a bit closer to city centre. Thank You.
We had a great time and the reception desk staff were lovely. The rooms are nice and clean and the bar is 24 hours. There are a few nice restaurants around and the hotel is a ten minute bus ride to some more nice restaurants nearer the city. Front desk staff were so helpful and nice.

I loved this hotel. I travel to Milano a lot and this was an excellent choice. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent for a modest priced hotel. They offered free time on the internet to check my email and a reasonable price beyond the free point. I asked for a recomendation for a nice close place to eat and was directed to a wonderful spot walking distance away which had the best pizza I've had in italy. I will definitely stay here again.
Hotel is a five minute bus journey from one of the main underground lines. Buses appear very frequently and run until after 1am. Underground train system is easy to master and, again, very frequent. Excellent value for money hotel with clean rooms, delicious breakfast, tidy bar and 24 hour reception.
ANOTHER EXCELLENT SERVICE.
This hotel is located in a quiet residential area and has a beautiful and quiet yard and opening. The pepole at reception desk are warm and welcoming and try to help you as much as they can. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed staying there.
This hotel seems to present a very warm family based operation. They were always receptive to our needs.
