Rustic rooms, basic, not too large but in a great setting. Lush tropical garden. Bathroom needs some extra shells. All rooms are different, so ask to see more rooms at the reception while checking in.
We loved this hotel. The gardens are just beautiful. It is such a tranquil setting. The rooms have an old world charm. I would recommend this hotel to families and couples. The only negative was the lack of consistent hot water, but as the climate is hot you can usually live without it.

Junior Suites consists of large master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, customized for his and her use with double sinks and sunken baths. All rooms in this category are also equipped with outdoor living area and private garden. Two of our junior suites are adjacent to each other and can also be adapted for family use, available upon request. Other amenities include wi-fi, minibar and two complimentary bottles of water everyday.
The hotel was right on the beach, and protected from the hawkers. Swimming pool was clean, if slightly smaller than it looks on the picture. Restaurant was nice, although dont order the seafood and it was horrible.

Lovely old style hotel with nice garden setting and excellent location. Room was a bit basic....could do with more cupboard space. Restaurant and staff were excellent.
I loved La Taverna Hotel! Great location-close to shops and spa. The hotel restaurant is in front of the beach which is so beautiful! Breakfast menu can be boring if you stay longer. Very friendly hotel staff and definitely stay when visiting Sanur.
I have stayed in hotels all over Bali and this was the best, lovley hotel, great atmosphere boutique style hote;, great food, perfect spot in Sanur, this is the best of the lot!
Great spot, very central and nice clean beach with beds and umbrellas. Restaurant very romantic and staff very friendly. Would def stay there again.
This is a lower priced hotel on a beach in Bali. Don't be fooled into thinking it is 5 star, you won't get 5 star at this price. The grounds are very pleasant and the staff friendly. My room was clean, comfortable and was serviced daily while I was there. The rooms are a bit dated and not large. But you don't want to spend your time indoors surely. Air con worked effectively. Bed comfortable, my friend thought otherwise but he is very large and overweight. A nice restaurant with breakfast included. The American style breakfast was adequate but not gourmet. Just outside the hotel you have a multitude of bars, hotels, cafe's to eat and drink in. A great beach, which is quite shallow and pretty safe for children. For me this place was within my budget and provided value for money.
The hotel lies on the best part of the Sanur beach. The hotel itself is really nice although I do think that some renovation needs to be done. A llittle bit of paint would do the job! The breakfast is ok but if you stayed there longer you would probably get bored with it. I would stay in this hotel again for its small size, good service and excellent location!

Beautifully appointed with Balinese -style architecture and furnishings. Comfortable rooms if lacking some mod-cons (safe not in room, rather measly with free water). However, wonderful friendly staff who cannot do enough for the guests and a marvellous atmosophere in the hotel - this is not some anonymous high rise; it was the real Bali and so pretty, set in beautiful gardens. I would recommend it whole-heartedly.
We found the restaurant very well located and staff very friendly and helpful. Sanur is excellent for a quiet break. Only problem was the "american breakfast" which turned out to be a "continental breakfast".
Nice hotel, we stayed one night, because it was close to the airport. Not the most exciting part of Bali, but certainly a good place to stay for a short time. Nice food and service. The rooms seems to be designed to accommodate a hobbit, we thought they were quite charming.
