Laguna Beach Resort Phuket

Excellent resort for children. Waterslide, baby elephant for the kids to feed and ride, and a wonderful kids club. Was about 30min out of Patong, which was a bit of a pain. Room was spacious and clean. Plenty of restaurants right outside on the beach, which saved spending huge prices on the expensive resort restaurants.

Excellent hotel for families with young kids. The pool area is amassing. Good place if you are looking for relax.

The Laguna complex of resorts is a good location. The Laguna Beach Resort is probably the best priced. The facilities are generally good. The large pool area is very good, and the lagoon system with access to sail boards, catamarans (free of charge) and jet skis (at a cost) are very good features.

We had a great time. We were upgraded from an ocean delux to Andaman suite without realising at first. Our room was tidied twice a day and we were given clean towels etc as well as other nice touches such as leaving orchids on our beds every evening. The resort is really geared towards families with lots of activities arranged through out the day, although as a couple in our late 20's we still felt we could relax around the pool. We sometimes struggled to get sun loungers by the pool, however there were always some in the garden area. We were never up before 10am so that may explain part of it. The only downfall is the price of food and drink is at least double the price it should be in Thailand e.g. 160 Baht for a beer which cost 80 baht. Luckily there are many beach restaurants just outside that sell delicious meals at a reasonable price. We'd recommed using local taxis as they're much cheaper than the hotel. We're going back next year.

I was impressed with this resort and the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. lovely room overlooking the lagoon. i couldnt fault it and the breakfasts.....MMmm delicious!

The lagoon studio rooms with 2 queen beds are great in size for a family of 2A + 2C. Not exactly 5 star rooms but quite comfortable. Great swimming pools, but choice of food a bit limited.

great location, fab for the kids, friendly staff and elephant wondering around the hotel. Breakfast very good but we ate at the beach cafes which were exellent value and very good food. Beach great we would definitly do back.

Laguna is looking a little bit tired, but the facilities and location are very good. The service upon arriving was good and we were offered an upgrade, which was excellent. Upon checking out it was difficult to get attention at the desk as they appeared short staffed and took considerable time with each customer whilst the rest of us stewed. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and a good breakfast with very friendly service. There were lots of people there trying to extend their stay, but the hotel was full.
