" Lai Thai is in a great location, within easy walking distance of the Old Town,Thapae Gate and the famous Night Market. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a nice restaurant on-site and a small pool to chill out in at the end of the day.
On the down side, my room was old and small, with noisy floors and a bit on the grubby side. The windows are slats which do not shut out noise very well.
Having said that, for the price you can't go wrong with Lai Thai - it makes a great base for getting out and about in the Chiang Mai region. Highly recommended!" - Anonymous
