Getting there:Driving into Taupo CBD, it has only one set of traffic lights, once you are here, turn into Heu Heu Street, drive 3 blocks and you will find Kaimanawa Street on the right hand side.
Check-in Procedure:Our Office closes at 8.30pm, if you are going to be later than this, please give us a call and we will give you instructions on how to check in after hours.
Car parking:Off street parking is available. Some parking is undercover and parking is free of charge.

Looking from the outside of the hotel, didn't look that great, but inside was really impressive, lovely spa bath in room, really large comfy bed. Really nice venue.
Staff were pretty friendly and very accomodating with us turning up much earlier than the normal check-in time. A fantastic room, place to stay and pricing was awesome. The breakfast was just devine. We will be looking to stay here again.
A lovely well appointed groundfloor room, with full cooking facilities, a Queen Size bed and a Single bed in the room. Outdoor Courtyard area with outdoor table and chairs. All rooms have Free Internet Access.
These rooms have 2 separate sleeping areas, great for two people sharing. These rooms have a Queen in the Main room and a single bed in another room. (5 of these have 2 singles)These rooms also have a full kitchen, free broadband internet and are close to the outdoor pool and Spa.
These rooms offer pure luxury. King size bed, with hot tub in you room where you can relax and watch the LCD Screen from your Hot Tub. Rooms have microwaves and small kitchen facilities.Most Suites have great views of the Lake and Mountain. Internet access is free of charge. The room rate is for 2 guests. The bedding configuration is King Bed. The maximum each room can accommodate is 2 guests. This room is not suitable for children.
Brand New Two Bedroom Suites. These have their own lounge, two large bedrooms, separate bathroom from the toilet. Beautifully appointed.
Very good motel and special rate including cooked breakfast delivered to the room was very reasonable. We have stayed here before and will stay again as very close to our family who live in Taupo.
Very friendly staff. We arrived late and everything ready for us. Perfect stop for the night.
Over all I loved the stay at the Motor Inn. One thing that let my stay down was the Customer Service I recieved

Good location for a short walk to town and the lake, nice to have the kitchen facilities. Quite noisy and a rather disappointing pool. Fairly average place to stay.

Awesome location in Taupo!! Rooms were clean & up to date decor, did expect a larger LCD Tv than a 14 inch for the price paid, but if you are after a quiet relaxing weekend away I do not suggest this motel as rooms not very soundproofed!
Friendly efficient service, well appointed and comfortable room, convenient parking and quiet after 10pm. I thoroughly enjoyed my night here. The only fault I could find was that there were no chairs on the balcony, only a table, but I did not got to reception to ask for some which would probably have remedied the omission.
This was a great place to stay. Had the Executive Spa Unit which was wonderful. The free cooked breakfast was much appreciated. My only complaint is the noise from the neighbouring units. Very bad at times.
Friendly staff, nice room with free internet. We really enjoyed the in room spa, after driving all day it really helped to ease the travel aches.
I would recommend the motel to anyone visiting Taupo ( as I do often on business) and this has been the most enjoyable by far.

Had a very nice stay at Lake Taupo Motor Inn. The staff were all very friendly and the room was nice as was the complimentry breakfast that was included. Would happily go back there again.
