very impressive when driving up
Very helpful staff with sufficient English: Revolving restaurant with excellent dinner and breakfast buffets; good menu selections also. HINT: Coming in to Nanjing by train or bus? Be sure to print out the hotel name in Chinese and/or the hotel address and/or a map to show Taxi drivers. It is next door to a Metro stop, but not sure what the name is. Very restful hotel. I Will probably try to go back to the Lakeview Xaunwu next time in Nanjing.

Superb hotel excellent views over the lake and right next door to the Xumen Wu subway station ,only two stops to the Railway station one way and 2 to the town centre the other 2 glass elevators to the 20th floor revolving resturant.great food. Very helpful staff,reasonable English. Would definately stay there again.
Lake View Hotel is very centrally located in close proximity to the lake and has great views and a wonderful and reasonably priced revolving restaurant which has great views of the whole city. Bedrooms are very well appointed and roomy with lovely bathrooms.
