Laluna Hotel & Resort Chiang Rai

Good base to travel to Golden Triangle and see more of the North and Chiang Rai. Very peaceful setting and lovely gardens. Friendly and helpful staff but lacks housekeeping management. We stayed 6 nights, probably 3 or 4 would have been better and we would have seen all we needed. The price we paid was very reasonable and overall very good value and if we ever returned to Chiang Mai we would probably stay there again.

We stayed here Aug-Sep 2011 for 4 nights. Found the staff very friendly and willing to assist at all times. If we were to travel to Chiang Rai again we would stay again. We had in-room massages and the girls were very good. Overall value for money. We walked into town easily enough and found the food at the restaurant excellent. The deserts are super large, so maybe share 1 first before ordering 1 each.

Conveniently located and moderately priced hotel in beautiful gardens

We stayed only one night here and wished we had stayed more. cant speak more highly of this property the best value for money in thailand. Staff were amazing beds the most comfortable and they make the best cocktails.I would advise to book a superior room as they are around the pool area. rooms are large and have a big fridge so if you re staying longer this would be great.

I thought this place was quite good, the staff polite and helpful and rooms clean. Breakfast fine. Not too far away from anything. A few funny things though - internet access "50 baht per hour" but if you wanted 5 mins only, still 50 baht and no credit to use later. Also, paying 50 baht for a safe [near reception] seemed a bit rich. Overall, I was happy with this place, would stay again.

We have been staying in the Laluna Hotel & Resort Chiang Rai four times till date. The hotel offers us good services and we can call it home when we get back Chiang Rai

Only stayed for one night at Laluna - beautiful exotic garden setting - individual spacious bungalows - some over looking the quite large clean shallow pool. Hotel charges reasonable but don't use the bar or restaurant - wildly overpriced - take Tuk Tuk to night bazaar lots of good restaurants and outdoor cafe's

We have a pleasant stay at Laluna Hotel & Resort Chiang Rai. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Lovely tropical garden surrounding the resort. We strongly recommend this place to a traveller.

Good mid price hotel. Lovely garden setting. No safe in room. Comfortable and relaxing.

Should provide more accurate map to the hotel. The location is quite convenient, but the map is confusing.

Ideal for family stay. Very nice ambience with all the plants surrounding the chalets. Restaurant cum bar looks good and the waitresses are friendly and ever willing to give a heart-warming smile. Will definitely choose this hotel when I visit Chiang Rai again.

The breakfast was very good but the restaurant was a bit on the expensive side and the bar needed to have a happy hour not buy 2 get the third free but overall great place to stay we would stay there again

Good Price and Good Place. Breakfast are great. but some operator not have service mind.

The grounds of the hotel are lovely. The breakfast was varied and nice. My husband enjoyed sitting in the lounge during the morning, reading and having coffee. The shower is the best shower we have had in months! The bed was too hard. We did not enjoy the bed. Thank you!

Good Hotel in Chiang Rai

Restricting user time rather than Charging for internet would be a better idea. The hotel must be paying for it anyway whether it is in use or not. and Bht50/hour is a bit much considering you are staying in the hotel.

Very nice hotel with beautiful gardens but way too pricey for the area it is in.
