best place to stay in nelson bay great friendly staff and great facilities and walking distance to everything
The elevator makes a lot of noise and that was the reaon that a few of our group couldn't sleep. The room was on the 5th floor located next to the lift. Also the lift wasn't working properly, we couldn't open the doors for a few times and it makes a strange swing when you go upwards only, to the 5th floor. The appartment was great and the service as well, but I hope that these two problems can be fixed for other guests in the future. Best regards,

Would have preferred the apartment had a conventional oven in the kitchen rather than a microwave but overall I would consider this resort for any future stays in Nelsons Bay
It was a great weekend stay. Just the games room is not available in the evenings, when you have not much else to do in the complex!!
We enjoyed our stay and will do so again
The Wentworth Landmark Resort comes across as 3 stars. It's a good hotel but certainly not up to the 4.5 stars that it claims.
would have been nice if you could use the pool at night. Sometimes it closed at 7pm other nights 8pm. In the summer daylight saving time you should be able to swim until at least 9pm. Very hot in the bedroom. Air conditioning only reached the living room. Fold out bed very uncomfortable. Had to put matress on floor. Otherwise very nice.
The hotel is a bit neglected, the pool looks like it is not well mantained and it is small. About the cleaning, seemed ok but the 2nd day we found cockroaches in the toilet's floor. The TV is too small. The location is great though.
Decent Hotel, was a shower / spa bath in one with a hand shower mounted which sucked a bit but totally usable, staff were helpfull. A 5 to 10 min walk up hill from the town center to the hotel but great views. One bad thing is the garbage shute, was right outside our room and VERY VERY NOISY and people used it all the time even tho there was a sign to say 8am to 8pm only. Got woken up on both nights at around 6am! but other then that I'd stay there again.
I do not like all the signage shown in several places within the unit, to keep room clean, empty rubbish etc prior to leaving, otherwise there is the threat of being fined. When we pay such high rates to stay in such facilities, where I'm sure the cleaning of units have been factored into the tarrif costs, it certainly dosen't give you the feeling of being made welcome.
Excellent Location, Price and Staff. Will definately be going back :-)
Everything is wonderful in the room that I stayed, but the only thing is it doesn't have a wireless internet connection, therefore I can't get online.
i have stayed at the landmark on 3 other occassions. this visit i was disappointed with the response to a disturbance in the room next door to mine. it started at 9 and continued to 3am until they left the premises.
We enjoyed the stay, would be great if there was a b-b-que area especially if you stay more than 2 nights as cooking facilates extremely limiting. Would like to take own drinks(in plastic for safety reasons) to the pool area. Bowling Club extremely close and meals were very good. Would stay again.
This was our second stay at the Wentworth Landmark Resort and we came back because we really love the location and the fact that the apartments are a good size. We good a wonderful online price so we were extra pleased. We will definitely be back.
Good solid place to stay. Ask for a high floor to get a view. Unserviced for short stays. RG Sydney Australia
Everytime we stay at the Landmark we are guaranteed a lovely weekend. Thank You
