Langorf Hotel London (The)

Much better than last time we stayed which was a year ago.The hotel has been refurbished and decor and everything much more pleasant.

A very friendly hotel in a nice part of London

Nicely placed between Hampstead Garden Village and Swiss Cottage. But parking is difficult if you go by car.

Clean, welcoming hotel, very convenient for transport into London.

We were pleasantly surprised after reading other comments about this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, hotel clean and breakfast, although "continental" was not just a croissant and jam there was also cereal, fruit juice, yoghurt, cheeses, meats, toast, bread rolls, tea, coffee - all served with pleasure by the friendly and helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only suggestion would be double glazing perhaps, because we had a front room and there was noise from the passing traffic

Great Hotel for the Hampstead area: nice and quiet, away from the traffic. Very friendly staff: would highly recommend.

Although the room was clean, the curtains were torn and the furniture rather shabby and the bed lights badly positioned for reading in bed. The bathroom was awkward - one had to reach behing one's back for toilet paper and the loo did not flush easily. The breakfast was poor - a continental breakfast should have decent bread at least. The best thing was the staff who were very pleasant.

A very nice cosy hotel in a nice part of town. (5 minutes from Finchley Road tube and 10 minutes walk from Hampstead High Street) Very friendly and helpful staff who actually smiled. The room was clean and spacious and the shower actually worked (well!) The Continental breafast was of a good standard. Great value for money and I will certainly stay there again.

Very comfortable small hotel, quiet with friendly staff and a nice change from the big modern chains. I would recommend this hotel and would definiely stay there again.

Excellent location if you have buisness in Hampstead, or offers better space for the money if you are a tourist than central London does. Only 8 minutes from Oxford street by subway. The Freud museum is close to the hotel.

Rooms are small but well kept. Would definitely stay there again. It is far far better than any other London area hotel I have visited in its price range.

I have stayed at the Langorf repeatedly and always been very pleased with the service and the accomodations. The rooms are larger than most London hotels and the nearby Underground stop has two lines going into central London. The Hampstead location is appealingly close to Hampstead Heath as well as the O2 center with restaurants and a cinema. The price is very reasonable,and the staff is friendly. It's hard to beat as far as London hotels go!

A very pleasant hotel, in a nice neighborhood and close to public transport. (Tube to city centre and regular bus service to Stansted airport around the corner).
