Lansdowne Hotel Dublin

Very nice place to stay at a reasonable price and city centre distance (round 12 minutes). The staff was very friendly, the food is OK and the rooms are kept very clean.

I booked the room in September and the day was really nice (for Dublin weather). Guess what? When I entered the room it was colder inside than outside. The room was tight but for teh price it did the job. The breakfast room is very dark. Bring your flashlamp if you want to try to read a newspaper over breakfast. Terrible! Overall, good location. Clean room but unexceptional. Ask them to turn on the heating before you arrive and the hotel really could do with improving the lighting in the dining room.

the reception was very helpfull , very friendly. nothing was to much trouble. food was good staff very helpfull. will certainly go back next time

Small and friendly, quiet area, very helpful staff, good breakfasts (cooked and continental), in easy reach of public transport (bus and train) and close to central Dublin. Recommended.

Great Full Irish Breakfast. Location is near shops and the Number 10 bus stops just round the corner.

staff very friendly and helpful, hotel is currently undergoing improvement but this did not effect our stay. would stay here again if visiting again.

i found this hotel to be friendly and enjoyed my stay i just felt it was a distance from the town centre but was close to the bus stop which was regular. It was conveniant for the dog track and rugby stadium. I will stay at the lansdowne again when i return to dublin

This was a good budget choice to stay in Dublin. The bathroom is getting very old and dated and is in desperate need of renovation. Chipped tiles, toilet that doesn't flush properly.

A little more care would result in this being a much nicer hotel - staff not briefed about how bookings are paid for, broken shower head, hole in the bed cover - nothing major or very problematic, just small things that let down the hotel.

An agreeable escape from the souless "boxes" of chain hotels.

I could not fault this hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive and extremely helpful. The room was bright, clean and very homely with a cottage feel. The facilities available were well maintained and easy to use. It is about a 15-20 min walk to St Stephen's Green, where there is shopping and cafes available. I would be more than happy to recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Dublin.

I will recommed this hotel. Nice room, good breakfast, service was good. The pub at this hotel was very nice and the food was good. The next time I`ll visit Ireland I`ll stay at the same hotel.

The room 64 was large with 2 double beds and the hotel was a nice 15 min walk from the centre through the park if you wanted.

Comfortable hotel in good condition. Hot breakfast prepared to order is a nice touch. Location is a bit of a walk from the city center (15-20 minutes). The desk clerk was exceptionally helpful and pleasant.
