"The Laurisilva complex is situated close the beach between the harbour town of Vueltas and the La Playa. It's an easy walk from the ocean and has two small supermarkets close by and therefore is well located to amenities. The apartment complex is large and almost out of place in terms of style to the rest of Valle Gran Rey. The predominant language spoken seemed to be German and the complex is aimed very much at a German clientele. The room had a low budget feel but at the price it was not unexpected and didn't disappoint on the value for money scale. If you are looking for a base and intending to be out exploring most of the day this place is ideal. Cheap and cheerful it has no real frills to speak of but has a pleasant and safe atmosphere." - Mark Cater
"Hotel location is Borbalan in Valle Gran Rey on West side of Island. Apartments are basic and clean with fridge and cooking facilities. Some apartments have sunny balconies, others face North. Hotel is within easy walk of port and beach." - Martin Dolan
