Le Bervic Montmartre Hotel Paris

"I was not expecting all that much though was very dissapointed eventually. The hotel may be at a very good location (close to metro station) though it is still quite far from the centre. Further, it seems like before it was a hostel (I had a bed like there are in hostels as before I stayed in some). I believe they try to keep the hotel look clean but as it is so old it cannot even look cleaner. Generally, having another option I would stay somewhere else. I may be cheap but you still expect some value for your money and surely this place does not offer this. " - Anonymous

"I stayed there for 2 nights. It looks quite old, our room was on the 5th floor, there wasnt any lift, so we had to carry our heavy luggage up the spiral stairs. However it is appropriate for travellers, who are in paris for sightseeing, and need a place to sleep only at night. It is very close to shops. The area has some muslims there, and i am a muslim, so it is quite easy to find halal food. Very close to metro station, about 2 minutes max of walking. :')" - Haji Emran Nur Hafizzah

"the only good thing about the hotel is location. really close to metro station. however the hotel itself disappoints me - fire alarm rang at 2am and really noisy becos of the traffic. looks very untidy and dirty." - Xintong Li

"The location is excellent--literally a hundred feet or so from the Metro entrance. This is quite handy as a) it makes exploring Paris very easy, and b) takes a little of the worry about walking through strange neighborhoods at night (the hotel is in a working-class neighborhood, which is a little dodgy in parts). Our room was clean when we arrived and thoroughly cleaned daily. The towels we initially had were clean but smelled funny, but the cleaning lady immediately swapped them for newer, fresher ones. Our room on the 2nd floor was small, but we were out and about a lot anyhow. The hotel is showing its age, but the manager and owner were very courteous and helpful towards all our inquiries." - William van Staalduinen
