Very enjoyable stay would stay here again.

3.4 out of 5

Rooms are sensibly priced for single use and that is probably their most appropriate occupancy rate.

room was large enough for 4 people and clean, however it was across the street in another building. Bathroom was new, but it smelled funky as there was likely a leak in it somewhere.

Cozy family type hotel right near the June Beach Normandy action place. Very friendly and helpful staff, a very pleasant place to stay. Quiet and near everything memorable. For Canadians, a nostalgic trip to come here.

Very close to the beach, but not in a town -- no shops, restaurants, etc. close by. Clean, but furniture and decoration is old. Room was very unconfortable: very small, woodfloor was noisy, and bathroom was *inside* the very same room --no door. In contrast, some rooms were in separate building -- they were much more spacious. In the old rooms, I do not recommend staying more than one night, and definitely not a whole week. Staff was nice; we were given free breakfast without asking it, probably because of the room we were assigned.

Clean, friendly and welcoming hotel. Hosts made an effort to speak to their (non-French) guests in English and were very attentive. Would stay again. Room just a little on the small side and shower could have done with modernisation otherwise AOK

A very warm welcome to a hotel that is really a little more than a B&B. The hotel has seen better days and there are no evening meals provided, one to bear in mind should you arrive during the evening, but the friendly staff point you towards a lovely fish restaurant on the sea front, exactly 15 mins walk. Cheap prices and I would stay there again.

Perfect for what we needed. Nothing fancy, but the inn-keeper was very helpful and very hard working - I think he ran the whole place by himself! Breakfast was very basic and a little pricey for what it was, but not a major complaint. Very close to the beach and a good place for heading to the D-Day beaches further down the Normandy coast. A good bargain.

The room was small for two people but very clean. The owners were extremely nice and helpful with directions. I would go back to this hotel again even though the room was a little cramped.

The owners of Le Canada are very friendly and speak english. They were very helpful in assisting us on public transport, and the locality. It is a small hotel and gets very busy in the summer months. We cannot find fault at all, and we will certainly return.
