"Would have appreciated a daily newspaper and adequate detergent (we got enough for two dishwashes for our stay of over a week) and salt and pepper. We consider the above to be normal provisioning.
For a complex which discourages those under 16 there seemed to be many youngsters. A fair number of which used the pool without waterproof pants.

" Very comfortable. The King size bed was the best we have slept on away from home. Rae and Gordon (managers) could not have been more helpful. We look forward to our next stay in Port and we will be staying at Le Cher Du Monde again. " - frank winter
"Right in the heart of Port Douglas - convenient for everything. It's on the main road but not noisy. A real family holiday feel. The manager couldnt be more helpful and the flat was in top condition with plenty of chairs and a balcony. The swimming pool was a bit small and in shade in the late afternoon. Only drawback we were on the 2nd (top) floor with 72 steps up and no lift. I promised Bruce I'd recommend it and I have!!" - John Pendry
