Our family reserved two rooms in March of 2007. The hotel is nicely maintained, and has an older buildings charm. We were very comfortable and recommend it highly. Large vehicles may not fit in the parking lot. The location is good; we walked to the Tapestry and Cathedral. There are many shops and restaurants on the rue Saint Jean; however, little is open on Sunday or early on Monday morning. We did not eat in the hotel, but if you have three hours for a leisurely dinner, the prix fixe at La Rapiere, two minutes away on rue Saint Jean, was superb.
Very good would be a massive understatement! This place was outstanding, right from the welcoming accommodationg staff through to the position in town. A must for anyone visiting Bayeux. Afterall, if it was good enough for Tom Hanks, surely its good enough for you!
Great location and helpful staff, nice bathrooms, rooms are just old and need to be updated.
