Getting there:From East: Take Autobahn 4 via the Koln-Ost intersection toward City-Centre Zentrum. Continue straight and cross the Rhine onto the Zoobrucke. After crossing the river, take the first exit toward Rheinhufer/Zoo. From North: Take Autobahn 57 to the intersection of Koln-Nord. Continue in the direction of the City-Centre. Proceed in the middle lane toward Zentrum. After the traffic light, turn left. Continue past the bridge and turn right into Gladbacherstrasse. Proceed approximately 2 kilometers toward the Cathedral Dom. From West: Take Autobahn 4 to Koln-West and continue straight to the Koln-Gremberg intersection. Follow the signs for Severinsbrucke and proceed across the Rhine River. After crossing the river, follow the signs to Dom/Hauptbahnhof. From South: Take Autobahn 3 to the Dreieck Koln-Heumar intersection. Continue straight on Autobahn 4 toward Oberhausen. At Dortmund, exit at the Koln-Ost Intersection and follow the signs toward the City-Centre.

A hotel in an absolute superb location, two minutes from main train station, opposite cathedral, and christmas market right outside the door. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms with great double glazing not a sound from outside, rooms & bathroom really clean. Highly recommended for visits to Cologne as it is central for most things.
We were extremely fortunate. We were upgraded to a very large room overlooking the Cologne Cathedral and the Christmas market. Fantastic room and really nice hotel. Only bummer was the staff in the bar were not on their game with customer service. My wife and I couldn't get served for over 20 minutes one night.
just a little improvement required in the bathroom area, to stop the water in the shower from spraying over the side and making the floor slippery. apart from that, it was excellent and we will go back with our friends!

Old hotel with some areas in need of refurbishment would be the only negative. Great break fast room. Hotel in prime location next to the Cathedral and central train station. Five minute walk to the old town, with a wide choice of quality restaurants and bars. Overall a good experience.

The hotel is in a prime spot in Cologne. Situated next to the wonderful Cathedral and also very close to the town centre. All facilities are within walking distance, - shops, pubs, restaurants and other sightseeing interests. The staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is very comfortable.
