"Amazing place, book more than one night because you will want to stay longer. Very quiet, nice and big rooms (excellent for families or 4-6 people, delicious breakfast. Very close to main towns in the South of France, just 30 min to Carcassonne. Be careful if you arrive late, specially by night. "We stayed in a wonderful suite (Lou Masso) with a romantic, rustic interior design. The hostess Helene was the best! She speaks English and prepared a lovely breakfast with self-made jams. The area is very beautiful (mountains, vineyards). The "swimming pool" was very small. Le Roc is difficult to find as it is not on a map, nor in TomTom (only Garmin). There are no lights nor road lines, so at night it's even harder to find. No signs indicating Le Roc either. It's definitely recommended to call Helene or contact her before-hand: [website] Drive through the village, St Pierre des Champs, until the end & follow the arrow 'Rue du chateau' (to the left, just a little up the hill) and take the U-turn completely to the left (don't go furter up the hill, stay in the village). You'll be at the Place du Chateau (a sandy street with a few cars and houses). There it is at the end, on your left, walk underneath the arch and there's a corridor with the suites.
