Lebua At State Tower Bangkok

FROM THE MOMENT WE ARRIVED THE STAFF HAD A WARM GREETING AND FRONT DESK STAFF UPGRADED US TO A BEAUTIFUL SUITE LOOKING OVER THE CITY AND RIVER. THE ROOM SERVICE STAFF WAS REMARKABLE WITH THERE ATTENTION TO DETAIL. WILL MOST DEFINETLY RETURN NEXT MONTH.

This package deal provided a very pleasant surprise as we walked into the unfolding luxury of one of the finest hotels in Bangkok. Adjacent to the oldest street in the original town area, it provided access to most accomodations within walking distance and the invitation to return every evening to welcoming staff ("wai"-hand clasped bow) who were extremely well mannered.

This is our forth time to Bangkok. We have never stayed at this hotel before. The location was excellent, the room was massive and even included a kitchen. At breakfast the choice was fantastic. The night market is only 5 minutes taxi drive away or walk down Silom road for more places to eat/drink. The hotel is not cheap for drinks or food, however we did treat ourselves to the Breeze resturant one night which was excellent. The view was amazing. The Skybar is a must. It opens at 6pm and has a tip go up earlier to the Distil bar and you'll get there before the crowds as it gets popular. Note that some areas your not allowed to take photo's.

Amazing city views and great morning buffet. The sky bar and Sirocco restaurant are a must (just get ready for an expensive Bill).

We had a room on the 55th floor (of 64 floors) with a river view. The room was enormous, with separate sitting room, mini-kitchen, large bathroom and bedroom, plus a balcony. There are three main restaurants and bars: on the 64th floor, on the 51st floor and on the 13th floor. All are excellent with high quality, innovative food. The buffet breakfast is the most ever we have ever seen. Only two reservations: the swimming pool is small and with a tiny area for sunbathing, and the reception area does not live up to the grand scale of the hotel.

Service was brilliant, especially the concierge who knew everything about the city. The breakfast buffet would have to be the best one I have ever seen. The rooms and view are spectacular. When staying here, you MUST enjoy a drink at the Sky Bar the view is amazing. All in all, now one of my favourite hotels.

I really like the othel, the service everything there. The top floor as well all the restaurants are really good. I really recomend

A Great Hotel but I do think they push their dinner service too hard and the food is outrageously expensive. I would stay again, but not eat or drink there. The price of a beer is two silk scarfs at The Oriental Plaza.

Excellent hotel in ideal location for exploring Silom Rd area and Patpong! Superb open air restaurant and bar although a tad expensive.

There could be no better place to stay in Bangkok. Absolute perfection to every last detail. Exceptional value for money, service was above and beyond all expectations rooms very spacious and immaculate, highly recommend this hotel to all travellers. 7 star!!!!

Top class accomodation and professional yet friendly service on our second stay at this hotel. Location is not the best but hotel provide shuttle to Sky train if you don t fancy the 10 min walk! We had left a pair of jeans on our last visit and were given them back when our bags were brought to our room on check in. Would definitely stay again and reccommend it to all

Stayed there 8-11 feb 2010. Very nice hotel with big rooms and high standard. Very nice breakfast. We stayed on the club floor on 55th with amazing views. Club lounge very nice atmosphere. Can really recommend the bar in open air on the top 64th floor. Have not seen anything like it in the world. They have dress code long trousers for men which is ok quite exclusive. The staff/management very friendly and they made us feel welcome.

Great hotel - this hotel is perfect for a few days in Bangkok, good facilities (pool, gym) amazing roof top bar and restaurant, also has another restaurant in the hotel which is really good (it is also used for breakfast) breakfast is brilliant with a huge variation that should suit all. On the down side, the hotel doesn't have anything in really close proximity to it, but the river is a 5 minute walk and so are restaurants in Silom area. One more thing is sadly the pool doesn't get any sun as the building shadows the pool making the pool very cold and not good if you want to relax in the sun (thankfully it wasn't what I wanted to do while I was there)

Excellent service and a few once in a lifetime experiences such as the Sky Bar with its brilliant view over Bangkok. The service though is rather special and you are made to feel a very important part of each staff member's day.

Great hotel. The room was very spacious and each room has its own balcon. Quite famous in bangkok so it is easy to locate if you go by cab.

Excellent hotel - quiet with excellent service and facilities. Wonderful helpful staff. We look forward to returning in the future.

Good location for both Sky Rail and boat for public transport (10 min walk) which I think is a real plus as allows non road options for accessing both old and new parts of the city. Lifts are annoying. Restaurants are beautiful but very pricey. Other than that very happy with the hotel.

Relatively easy access to the river where you can use ferry boats up and down. Bar on roof classie with amazzing view - drinks relatively expensive to the surroundings. Otherwise great facilities
